There’s a little blue pill they could take | Beer 30 Sports O’clock
Beer 30 Sports O'Clock covers Super Bowl LVIII, the Bad Bunny halftime show, NBA trade deadline collusion involving Giannis Antetokounmpo and gambling app Call Sheet, Winter Olympics coverage, and an EEOC lawsuit against Nike over DEI practices. The hosts discuss the Patriots' disappointing loss, Bad Bunny's visually impressive but vocally questionable performance, and concerns about NBA integrity regarding undisclosed trades affecting gambling markets.
About this episode
Key takeaways
- The Patriots lost to the Chiefs in a field goal-heavy Super Bowl; Drake Mays offensive line, particularly Will Campbell, was heavily criticized after allowing 14 pressures
- Bad Bunny's halftime show ranked top 3-5 visually with strong set design and cultural representation, but the vocal performance was considered top 10 rather than exceptional
- Giannis Antetokounmpo announced a gambling app partnership days after the NBA trade deadline despite denying a trade request, raising collusion concerns affecting bettors
- Winter Olympics in Milan started a week before many viewers noticed; figure skater Amber Glenn faced online harassment after publicly opposing Trump
- The EEOC is suing Nike over alleged discrimination against white employees in hiring, a first major DEI lawsuit against a corporation
Q&A
Why did the hosts criticize the Super Bowl commercials?
They said commercials have declined in quality since marketers realized Super Bowl ads are less important in the instant-gratification era; NBC also aired excessive show promos instead of traditional ads
What was problematic about Giannis and Call Sheet?
Giannis announced a partnership with a gambling prediction app after denying trade requests, while millions bet on his landing spot based on trade rumors; this appears coordinated without investigation
How did Bad Bunny incorporate Puerto Rican culture in the halftime show?
The set featured sugarcane fields, domino games, a barber shop, and represented Puerto Rico's power crisis through visuals; Bad Bunny addressed all of the Americas, not just the US
What happened to Lindsey Vonn at the Winter Olympics?
The 41-year-old skier ruptured her ACL during competition but returned to ski and compete despite the severe injury
Episode notes
Bri and Ziggy talk about the Super Bowl, was it boring or just us? Did anyone know the Winter Olympics started? Ziggy calls out the NBA and the Milwaukee Bucks. They try and figure out science without Ziggy blushing. Beer Flight was brought to you by Ranger Creek Brewing from San Antonio Texas. Is Nike the first major corporation to get sued for DEI practices? Will there be more or is this just revenge?

This is beer, 30 sports, a clock. I lost where the can went and this episode's beer is brought to you by Ranger Creek Brewing. It is the Sky Trooper IPA and it is from San Antonio, Texas.
It is 6.5%, it is 65%. It is an IPA straight up. It is named after the C-47 Sky Train Aircraft Flounder in World War II.
It's pretty good. Not super, I mean, it's hoppy. Yeah, I don't taste any extra additives and citruses and formulations of molten things like that.
It's just straight up fucking hops and it tastes like a good hop brew. So yeah, I mean, I'm rocking with it. Shout out to Ranger Creek.
I randomly went in there while I was out there out in San Antonio this weekend for my son's tournament. And they usually do not sell by the singles, like singles, you know. And I was telling the guy about the show and the guy was like, you know what?
I got you. I went in the back and grabbed six randoms because we're going to do them on beer flight and they're going to be a part of the beer 365. So shout out to Ranger Creek.
They were very nice. They actually also make bourbon and rum. But they're famous for their bourbon.
Yeah, so next time you go down to San Antonio, I have to do a nice little visit and do interviews and hang out and stuff like that because it was cool. But I couldn't do that much drinking and chilling and stuff like that. I had my son with me.
It's so crazy because the breweries like literally around the corner from the hotel we were at. So really like walking distance. But I just, you know, anyway.
All right. News you can booze to. Let's talk Super Bowl, baby.
Brea can tell by your excitement. You did not like the game. It was boring.
So everybody said everybody who everybody who was expecting this high flying offences, going crazy. Yeah, not just a bunch of field goals. It was definitely the kicker might have should have been the MVP, but I'll say this.
Drake Mays early in the early in the process. He's early. They were in his career.
He has never seen a defense like that. Will Campbell. Absolutely who was the offensive lineman who was getting just like there was one play where he just literally got pushed into Drake May like five yards back like the defense of the big number 92.
I forget his name. I think it's like Milton or Milson or something like that. Holding on to the lineman, pushing will Campbell the lineman all the way to the back and grabbing Drake May like children and sacking.
And I'm like, bro, this is crazy. And that was just a glimpse of the defense. I will say this.
I thought the I thought the Patriots were going to keep it a lot closer. I bet on them for and a half. Fuck you very much, New England.
I am glad they didn't win. Yeah, I was going to say, although I do think this is going to begin the era of Drake and the coach variable, this is going to be their like motivation game. Will Campbell might not have a job because literally everyone across the country that was watching the game, not just a halftime show, literally was like, yo, who is this offensive lineman?
He is terrible. I mean, Twitter was like our ex was exploding with tweets and memes. And I mean, this dude was getting absolutely destroyed.
He had one of the worst games he probably has ever had on the biggest stage, of course. Yeah, it was just bad. Fourteen pressures in one game he allowed.
Listen, you know, this is the game you play. This is the this is the the thing you want. And usually offensive lineman are not like celebrated or talked about a lot, but now with the calcies and the lanes and the and the Trent Williams and the big dudes that we see that are so massive and athletic and just becoming the stars that they are.
Listen, there's a lot of pressure on you too. Commercials. What did you listen, the commercials, there was a lot of AI commercials.
I forgot NBC has not done the Super Bowl in a while. I was like, I don't remember seeing all these fucking show promos on my Super Bowl commercials. Right.
Like nobody cares about Ted. No, are we doing another Ted or is it a show is just another season to show? I didn't watch it was terrible.
What? You didn't watch any of them? Well, like they were on, but I pay attention.
Ring camera. Oh my God. Everybody in a mama freaked out on that ring camera commercial.
I did see that and I said, what the everybody in a mama freaked out on that ring. Ring had to backtrack and be like, yeah, we were just, we were just kidding. It's not a real thing like relax and it was too late.
No damage control. You already, you already spent the money on that. Yeah, you blew that like, oh my God.
I was waiting for a Doritos commercial man. Somebody else said that. Somebody said that when I'm here was watching the game.
It's like, where's Doritos? Like, I think Doritos is making too much money doing everything else right now. They don't really care to make.
Where was the Skittles commercial? Again, same thing. I know, but those are the iconic ones.
I mean, they are, but I think Duncan's kind of taking that, that, that. Duncan commercial. Yeah, I think they're starting to take that and move it into where Doritos and Skittles were because they Duncan wants to compete with Starbucks, I guess, for coffee and stuff like that.
I mean, listen, stick to donuts. There were some good ones, though. There was no good ones to you.
The Budweiser one, the horse and the eagle. I thought that was pretty good. I was driving home from work during that one.
Was that one during the first quarter? It was during the third. I think it was either second or third.
So if it was the third, I, after the bad bunny concert, I went into a shower. So I probably missed it. Listen, a girl worked in the morning.
The bad bunny concert. Yeah. The teams are playing at the bad bunny concert.
Did you see that? Yes, I saw the meme. This is, this is a sports show.
The one that got... The Super Bowl happened anyway. Go ahead.
During bad bunny's concert. That one where it was the Backstreet Boys song. And it ended up being for crypto.
And they ruined the end of the song. My mom and I were singing along. And then that part got there and we went.
All right. Yeah. It was, it was a good commercial.
We were all just there. Like, here's the thing. There were no...
Like, Budlight had a good one with Post Malone. Where they were throwing the, they threw the keg down the hill. And everybody was running and rolling down the hill.
It was funny. The crypto one was good until the end. Yeah.
It was good until the end. The Budweiser one was really good. Where the horse was like with the eagle.
There was another one. I thought, I thought really honestly that the Super Bowl commercials have been taking a nose dive. When they, since they've realized that it is not...
It used to be about the commercials during Super Bowl because of the amount of money that they would spend and it would, they would recoup it throughout the year and things like that. And now it's like, we're such an instant gratification. We're, we're constantly changing.
You know, everybody's got an album of the year, the next week album of the, you know what I mean? It's just like, it's, we're a microwave society right now. And they realized, the marketers probably realized like, Super Bowl commercials are really not that important anymore.
And I think that that's why we're getting such lackluster commercials. I will say that NBC's, NBC's coverage, I don't, I don't know, I don't like it. I didn't like it at all.
I was hoping that, I forgot that NBC was doing it this year. I thought Fox was doing it this year. I was ready for Fox.
I was ready for Brady. I was, well, I wanted Brady to do the New England Super Bowl and try to be indifferent. Oh, it would have been glorious.
But we had to deal with Chris Collins-Werfin. Paul, I don't even know what to say here. Yeah.
There was a lot of weird into windows too. Yeah. Throughout it.
Yeah. All right. Let's get to it.
The bad bunny concert. I love the bad bunny concert. The half time show that everybody was freaking out.
He's going to make a political statement. I mean, he did. He did.
He made several. I don't know. Everyone is talking about, we're all together in the football and handing the trophy to, or handing the Grammy to the kid.
First off, that kid is not the kid from ICE. I got to say that. No, it's not.
It's been, it's been deemed not true. I've looked this up like a, I looked this up because I was like, I first saw that. I was like, yo, that's so dope.
But no, the kid, the kid, that was, I don't know who that kid was. It wasn't that kid. If you look up the pictures, they do not look alike side by side.
I've seen comparisons. I was like, man, anyway. I think he was like, I did my research.
Yeah, I know I did. I went and I looked, I made sure because I wanted to talk about that on the show. And I thought that was dope.
Now, that couple really did get married, legally on there. And that couple did really get engaged at the half time show. Also, Jessica Alba.
Oh, my God. Pedro Pascal. Fuck him.
How do you? Alba. Oh, my God, bro.
Drink bathwater. I would drink her bathwater in a heartbeat. Bad is fuck.
She's still. She has dropped dead. What the fuck?
No, I know. She's beautiful. Like what the fuck?
She's still miraculously that gorgeous without like effortlessly. She looked off beat his hell, poor baby. But she was straight up just there.
And I was like, Cardi B was there and Pascal was there and then. Carol G. Carol G was there.
Her name's Carol G. Yeah. Was that okay?
Yeah, she was the one standing next to Cardi. That's right. That's right.
Somebody. See, I don't know all these people. I don't know.
I don't understand some of their music. You know what I'm saying? But I know the vibes.
Like JJ Watts said, I didn't understand a word that he said. But I know vibes. I know the vibes were there.
The vibes were definitely there. I did not understand a single word either. But I enjoyed it.
Yeah, I think everybody who watched it that wanted to enjoy it. That just wanted to see what he was going to do. That wasn't like racially undertone upset about it.
Yeah. Every Martin came on. My mom was like, oh, it's Ricky Martin.
Bro, that. Listen, that lady Gaga, like those two bombs that he dropped, like you just can't. Like I think people forget Ricky is Puerto Rican, like a motherfucker.
Which, by the way, the Grammy handed to the kid, right? We'll get to that. And we'll get that.
I'm sure she's trying to debunk me saying that is the kid. No. But.
You did your research. I did. Yes.
Yes. But the other symbol that a lot of people missed that nobody's talking about. Did you see the gay couple dancing by the truck?
Yeah. No. That's about it.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
But we know bad bunny, as already openly said that he swings both ways. And he is very cultural about that. Yeah.
He's very, you know, they should let love, love, love, love. Listen, I'm cool with that. I'm not tripping.
I just was like, oh, we're not going to be mad. We're going to be mad about the Spanish. We're not going to be mad about that.
Like there was so many other things that John could have got mad at. Y'all were mad at the fact that none of the words were in Spanish. Like, I mean, none of the words are in English.
Like, come on, bro. Like, anyway, which, by the way, I was actually doing some other research. Did you know that America actually does not have an actual language?
They don't. We do not have a set language for this country. We know.
That is insane. I just learned that today. I've known that for a while.
And like people have tried the amount of people that started our, tried to start arguments with me yesterday just at the bar. I was like, please. We do not have an actual, that's fucking insane.
We don't. We don't have an actual language. I didn't know that.
Yeah. Like, what? I know English was a national language, but they were like, no, that's, that's, we took that and we switched it from because technically our English is different from their English.
Yeah. So we don't necessarily like, are we walking around speaking American? We'll.
Which is crazy because I didn't even think about that. Like, wait, we don't have a national language because Puerto Rico is again an American territory. It's all, it's complete Spanish.
Yep. Hawaiian. They don't speak, I mean, they speak English there, but like, they have their own language as well.
I think it's, is it to gollic? I think something like that. Yeah.
You're, you're barking up the right tree. But I don't, honestly, it's crazy to me because like, I'm thinking in my head, like, what do you mean? There's so many people from so many countries.
Yeah. So. Yeah.
I'm not surprised by all the outrage because they were outraged about Kendrick and being too blackety, black, black, black, even though it's black history. Too loud. Too loud.
It's, you don't understand any of the music. We don't understand the words he's saying. It's always the same rhetoric, but whatever.
Excuse me. Also, visually speaking, this has to be in the top five, maybe top three of all time Super Bowls. Oh, yeah.
The very beginning at, like, Justin. Yeah, just the walking through the different, uh, with the slushy and the liquor and the, when they got engaged. The Cuban grandfather's playing.
Yeah. The, uh, the domino. The domino.
No, it was domino. They playing domino. Domino.
Domino. Yeah. So listen.
I also stood what was happening. Yeah. All the visuals.
Even, yeah, even if you don't, that was my, that was my biggest takeaway from this. Being a New Yorker, right? You've seen all this, like, you go to certain, like, you go to the Bronx, you see a lot of this in the city.
And even in Dallas, you go to certain parts of Dallas now, you're starting to see little H. March and little Havana's and little Puerto Rico and stuff like that. Like, you're starting to see some of that stuff called the Argentinians are taking over.
Like, you're starting to see that, right? And you could tell by like how he, the set design was off the chain. It was second.
Second, I think, is like what the grass was supposed to be. Yeah, sugarcane. And it had been people.
Yeah, that was crazy. I was like, is that, we, when they were showing it like before he started performing, I was like, did that tree just move? What the fuck?
What is that? Which is really smart. Like, getting everybody, like, having like so little time to get on and off after and before the show.
Yeah, just, yeah, just paying them. And all right. In fact, I think I like three, four grand.
Just standing there and waving. I do that shit too. Because it was like, it was rehearsals and then all of that.
But can we talk about the performance? It was great. Okay.
I'm, listen, again, top five, maybe top three, visually. Visually, visual halftime shows. All ball time.
All time. I'll put it up against prints the weekend. I'm talking Kendrick.
I'm talking Dre. Because I think we all forget usher. Even though usher really wasn't that great visually, but his performance was outstanding.
Performance wise, if we're just talking songs and how he performed them. It was top ten. We're not knowing the word that it was great.
Yeah, yeah. First off, he should have done Monaco all the way. I was so mad.
I was so hyped. He did the violins. Oh, we, I jumped off the couch like a fanboy.
I was going crazy. Like, that's my song. You better sing that shit.
And he stopped it. I was so mad. I was so mad.
I was so mad. I was so mad. But the songs he picked from what I understand were like, the most, I guess they were all Spanish songs and there was something, they were like less provocative type songs and something like that.
I guess, I don't know. Not like any of us could really understand the fucking words anyway. But also the other reason I say that is, did you notice how close that mic was to his mouth?
Like, he was eating the mic. Pause. No, I was looking at everything else.
I think a lot of people were. So I don't think, I think, again, I think it's first off, first off. Let me not sound like a hater.
I'm not taking nothing away from what he did visually and what he did as a whole. As a whole, I think it was, like I said, top 10, maybe top five of performances as far as a whole. It's the highest viewed one.
It is. But we expected that. We, like, we all knew.
We all knew that was coming. Even Trump was watching it. Like, which is crazy considering he has this whole other show that he wanted everyone else to watch.
Fuck outta here. He was watching, listen. Big booty Latinas.
Shit. I don't know why I can't rock. I don't know why he's high.
Yeah, jelly roll. And he's figure as far as we're back. And that shit, I put the big booty Latinas on the TV.
Hey, man. Anyway, anyway. Let me digress.
Because what? I don't even know why that was an argument or like, oh, we're going to show them. I'm sorry.
What? Like, it was just all just too much, man. Like, I'm very in the middle with this shit.
Like, I'm looking at the halftime show as what it was. First off, it was a very good statement piece. It was a very good performance.
I'm not taking nothing away. But what I just was not fully satisfied as far as performance goes. And I wasn't the only one.
There were a lot of people that were kind of like, I've seen them do better. Maybe he was nervous. Maybe he was too focused on the visual aspect, like the power.
Because he knows that a lot of people that are watching. Watching. Yes.
He wanted to represent every single thing that was going on like the fact that Puerto Rico's like on the verge of losing power on like the power lines and the sugarcane. Like, the representation was there. The barber shop.
All of these things were there like kudos to my man, Bad Bunny, and the set designers, whoever they may be. They should get a standard ovation for this and hip. And the creative directors for that should get all the praise that they are getting.
I really just wish that the performance was a little bit better. A little bit. Because listen, I'ma be honest.
He's in company with some of the greats. Yeah. Prince, Mike, Kendrick, Dre, Usher, like they put on motherfucking performances.
You forgot Rihanna. I really liked her performance. Her performance was great too.
And she sounded fantastic. Yeah, I was gonna say her performance was great too. And pregnant.
Yeah, as I say, yeah, my bad. I mean, I disrespect Rihanna. Beyonce.
Beyonce, technically, I don't, did she ever do one herself? Her self. She was a part of it.
She was a part of it. She was a part of it. She was a part of it.
We don't remember who they were. It was really Beyonce. It was Bruno Mars and Beyonce show.
Which everybody was like, oh, it's Bruno. I was like, Bruno's not Spanish. Bruno's like, Hawaiian or some sort of, or Polynesian.
He's not even like, what? No. So it was funny to see a lot of the reactions and hear some of the stuff that is going on.
I don't think people knew Jessica Alba has Mexican descent or Spanish. She's crazy because her last name is. I don't think a lot of people associate Alba with as a Spanish last name.
I don't know why. I didn't when I first. I have a lot of people with Alba.
I've never met an Alba ever, ever met an Alba never. And it's crazy because I've been around the world. Yeah.
You know, I'm saying military and she like never met one. I thought it was a fake name. I'm not going to lie.
I don't think she's. I thought it was a fake name. I thought she was like one of those, what's the names that people authors make for?
Oh. I know what you're talking about. You don't know what I'm talking about, right?
Like instead of doing like, prints is not his real name. It's a stage name or whatever they call it. But yeah, no, I thought that was it.
I thought she made that name up. But I heard somebody was like, no, that's a real name. All right.
All right. Cool. But anyway, I do like I said, I thought the Super Bowl was exactly what the NFL needed.
I liked the end too. Him saying it's not just like, oh, yeah, we love America is not just. Listen, the Americas, the Americas, Canada, he called out everybody, he tried to include everybody, which is cool.
I'm all for that. Like I said, the message was there. Like we, all the, the, the pundits and the crazy people at this point.
Um, weren't watching or trying. Like I saw, I saw a clip. The girl where she was like at the game, but she was watching.
She was like, I'm watching the first off. You were the first off. You was in the nosebleeds.
Mm-hmm. Second of all. You already paid.
You already paid. Yeah. Like what?
Lastly, did you hear anything? Because I, you can't hear like the speakers where she was sitting at. All you can hear is wind noise and speakers.
The fuck is you talking? Like you can't hear shit. What are you?
Whatever, man. Um, I will say that Jake Paul is kind of an idiot. And I'm glad his brother said something because his brother is so funny.
I don't agree with you. His brother was so funny because I like, I'm bringing up the two because I want to like his full set. His full set.
Uh, could purposefully turning off the halftime show. Let's rally together and show the big corporations. We don't need them or some bullshit.
Puerto Rico is a foreigner. And that was it. I love my brother.
But I don't agree with this. Puerto Ricans are Americans. And I'm happy they were giving the opportunity to showcase their talent.
And they both live on the island. They both live in Puerto Rico. That's what made me laugh when I read Jake's Jake Paul's tweet.
I was like, weird. Because you live. Yeah.
$36 million dollar mansion. In Puerto Rico. What the fuck?
What the fuck? What the fuck are you talking about, bro? Like, what the fuck, bro?
Okay, play with that money if you want Puerto Rico. They're both fucking cut for that one. Okay.
That's our tweet that said not me agreeing with the brother that filmed dead body in Japan. And I'm like, you know, you got to pick. Listen, maybe he's maybe he learned his lesson.
Okay. Yeah. That is crazy though.
Like, what? Did you hear Green Day's mic got cut out at one point? Yeah, because they were going like, they were going ham.
I didn't see that show. I didn't see that part of the show. That was really good.
It wasn't to be longer. I saw, well, I saw clips because I was trying. I was going, I just got back from San Antonio.
Took a shower, got dressed and fucking it was on my way. And like, you know, I was trying to beat the beginning of the show or whatever. Or the Super Bowl.
And I just missed like, I missed majority of it. So I didn't even watch it. Honestly, I heard it was good though.
I heard it. I mean, you weren't the only one that said that. So.
Coco Jones. Coco Jones did good. She had an outfit.
Her outfit was like, I'm on my way to Whitney Houston. Yeah. Yeah.
I saw that. I saw that clip. Which lesson?
Another one. She's a bathwater candidate too. Yeah, but I can't.
She's now Donovan Mitchell's fiance. So. And you know, I know people that know her.
I know. Yeah. Yeah.
Maybe don't say that because she will find you and give you a thing. I already put out. I already put out a meme.
Oh, I'm going to send you. I'm going to send you the meme I did about. I was doing shoulder press one day in the gym and I was like, you know what?
I'm going to do this meme because she has a video. Her dancers were practicing or something like that for the show. And one of the dancers, one of the male dancers lifted up the other dancer, female dancer.
And had his like her legs on his shoulders. And her face was like like like because she's rarely like Christian, you know, you know, whatever the case would be, right? And the meme was like, everybody I was asking while I'm working while I work so hard in the gym.
And then I flipped it to that camera. I'll send it to you. It's pretty funny.
What is not funny? Oh, wait. I got a shout out.
I got a shout out. Sam Donnell. I got a shout out.
Sam Donnell. What a story. What a motherfucking story.
And I'm so glad he did it in Seattle. Not Minnesota. Oh, my God.
I'm so glad he did it in Minnesota. Seattle, not Minnesota. Unrivaled.
Have you watched any of this unrivaled season? You know what unrivaled is? Ah, for the people like Bri and the back.
It is a three on three technically a tournament or somewhat of a season now. Of three on three women's basketball, three superstars or three stars play each other in a three on three game. And sometimes and one on one.
I watched some of it this weekend because it was, you know, pretty much the only thing on TV. Besides college basketball, which it actually ended up being a better gaming college basketball. The least the one that I watched.
Although UNC and Duke was a really good game, which is crazy to say. Because it's always a good game. Even though it started out like looking like a pummeling.
Michigan State was actually a pretty good game too though. USC ended up being a pretty good game. But those were later.
Anyway, unrivaled is becoming very, very popular. And they've got a lot of good sponsors TNT hosted. Ah, true TV, all the, you know, the ones that do the March Madness and things like that.
Turner sports are now doing all the unrivaled. My question for that is, is that what may be possibly holding up the WNBA's negotiations? Because now less, less is more technically on the court.
The girls are getting probably a better portion of money. Plus they're playing for, they're playing for like an excess of money and things like that from what I understand. Is this going to satisfy our need for the WNBA?
Is this possibly going to replace the WNBA? I don't know. I don't think so yet.
But it's, it's, it's getting scary because WNBA still hasn't figured out what they're doing for this CBA, which is collective bargaining agreement. Someone told me, what the hell is the CBA? But yeah, like, it's getting, it's getting scary for the WNBA.
It's also scary for the NBA. NBA trade deadline happened and it was very mediocre. There was a lot of good moves like for players that nobody really, you know, no superstars except for maybe James Hardin going to Cleveland.
They're starting a rebuild with the Clippers because I think they know what's coming with the sanction or the trouble that they're going to get into with the whole Kawaii Leonard being paid under the books, under the table, off the books, if you will, under the books. Salary circumvention. But there's another, the NBA trade deadline was really, really hyped up because Jomerant was on the table and Janus was on the table.
Now, it was said by Shams that Milwaukee is now listening to offers for Janus. Janus was thought to be leaving. Janus was actually saying I'm not requesting a trade.
He kept saying I'm not requesting a trade. I'm not, I'm not the one requesting a trade. I just want to win blah, blah, blah.
They are a shitty team. So you can't possibly want to win on this team. Not, you know what I mean?
You don't want to win on this team. Nothing happened. Trade deadline hits.
Nobody's moved. Jomerant's still a fucking Memphis grizzly. Janus is still a buck, right?
But it is announced literally days after the trade deadline that he announces he is a partner in a gambling predicting app called call sheet. And for those of you who don't know what call sheet is, again, it's a predicting gambling app. It's almost like trading stocks.
They make it where it's very a slippery slope because it's legal. Now it's a lot like the prop bets. It's a lot like that where it's legal and all 50 states because technically it's trading.
It's not gambling. It's slippery slope. With that being said, there was bets on where or trades where Janus would end up.
Millions upon millions of dollars were put on where he would land with him knowing full fucking well. He wasn't leaving. Let me say this again for the slower people in the back.
What kind of collusion is this? Shams should be under investigation. Janus should be under investigation.
Milwaukee should be under investigation. And you all wonder why I won't bet on the worst most crookedest league I have ever seen in my life. How in God's name is the NBA not investigating Janus in the books.
This is just straight up collusion. This is just straight up collusion. You are scamming people out of their money basically because you're putting out there the implications that they're going to be a trade.
And literally no one is talking about this. I've only heard this on like one show about it. And it's insane.
If this was football, the world would explode. The world would have imploded by now if this was the NFL. If this was college football.
NBA bro, like there's a reason I don't gamble on the NBA anymore. And this is just one of the many. This is in fucking sane.
I don't understand how nobody's screwed not screaming from the mount tops. How calls he is still allowed to operate within the NBA like this. It's sanctioned.
There's no compliance. There's no investigation. There's nothing.
You're literally throwing your money away on the NBA. I'm out. I'm out.
I'm out. I'm out. I'm out.
Say what you will about the NFL and their scripts and all this stuff like that. But I'm out. I'm out.
The NBA just does not care. They just basically call you stupid and just, you know, you just taking it at this point. I'm out.
Done. Braun. L.A.
Mavs net. I'm done. I'll support my team every now and then when I watch.
But I'm not. I'm not. Yeah.
No. Fuck NBA. I'm out.
That's crazy. Crazy. What also is crazy.
They might know the Olympics started. Well, I feel lost. I was like, what do you mean the Winter Olympics started?
Where are they? Where are they? Winter Olympics?
When did they start the opening ceremony? What do you mean there's events going on already? It's in Italy.
It isn't Italy already. There's Milano, right? Yeah.
Yeah. I'm just saying what I found out about the, I found out about the Olympics like a week late. It's already, it's already started last week.
Hmm. Yes. It's already had a full week ago.
Yeah. Yeah. And like I didn't find out till like Saturday.
And I was like, the Olympics are on. I was wondering like, why is everybody talking about his lady with the ACL and what she's still skiing? And I was like, I was like, what are you all talking about the Olympics saying right now?
They were like, bro, what are you? What? The Olympics going on right now.
Matter of fact, tonight when the Super Bowl was over, we all watched. Yeah. Watch that.
I was like, wait. What? I guess are we not interested because it's winter time?
I mean, is winter supposed to be winter sports and it's not really cold outside anymore? Like. I mean, the winter Olympics people don't usually watch as much.
Hmm. Uh, I don't know why because their stuff is crazy. No, for real.
People are dancing on skis and that's not interesting to people. Bruh. Doing backflips.
Yeah, I saw that back. There was backflips and then there's, uh, twist and ice. The ice skating thing, like, as a kid, I grew up watching ice skating.
There was, uh, there was, uh, the Nancy Kerrigan, the Tanya Harding, the, the black chick. Oh my gosh. She's from France.
You know what I'm talking about, right? Yeah. She, she, she did the first backflip.
Back. Yes. But then they banned it.
Yeah, they banned it. And all of a sudden. It's back.
Yeah, it's back, baby. Which, by the way, it was pulled off lovely. Mm-hmm.
You know, you know, um, is it, like, four shots? Anyway, um, I have a theory though, I do think that we as America, or maybe not as interested, because we are feeling a little less patriotic nowadays. Yeah.
I do. I, I feel like the, the usually, usually, I mean, usually, whenever the winter Olympics is going on, I, we, Bob's Lads, ice skating, snowboarding? Snowboarding.
We, like, we know what's going on, like, with the skiing and speed skiing. And shit like that shooting no Sean white man, but we don't None of us are paying like I mean we were some people are probably paying attention now But just to just is ice skating though You don't like the speed skate thing. I like that shit.
I said it was crazy. Oh, I saw old girls injury. Yeah Um Lindsay Vaughn.
What's her name? She's 41. She's done.
Yeah. No, yeah. Yeah, she's done First off, I feel bad for her.
I understand wanting to go out on top and ruptured her ACL, right? Yeah, you had that like Torn is torn is like slight you hear pop and then it's like all right, whatever ruptured means is like it exploded. It does not exist.
It is gone and And she bounced back came back bounce back is a little strong. That is. Yeah, but she fell back That's crazy.
That's insane. I didn't say that Skying helps though because she doesn't have to move her legs done running and she doesn't have to move her leg a lot So she could still ski, but it's a very as we saw it's very sharp fast turns, you know, you got to be on point The second you like a millimeter out of line and can fuck the whole race up or fuck the whole Jumper are our course up. There you go.
And I saw her I forget what it's a stick, but I mean I saw it catch a snag on the The boundary. Yeah, and it run I don't know, but it it destroyed her Get airlifted out like I've never seen anything like and I watched that I was like oh my god What the hell yeah, and yeah, it was It's kind of alarming. I didn't think you get hurt get hurt like that on snow like oh, yeah Again first off Yes, we I'm talking like because usually I guess I don't know why I picture it being softer because it's so like you know Yes, I know it's like packed in and stuff like that, but it I usually I don't know because it's like More is being put down as the weather, you know I'm saying you see the birds flying by one of the jumps So it's like snow is constantly coming down or blowing or whatever So it's kind of like okay, well, but I some I was like nah, I should as hard as a fucking rot.
Yeah, I should as ice and I'm like That shit is crazy. Oh, I also heard a crazy story that there are Olympians That that are doing the ski jump that are literally injecting in their Penial Penis I can't even I can't even fathom this. What are you five?
Oh, they're literally injecting some type of chemical to add more weight or Garth or length to their fucking penis so that they can jump Higher because our little blue pill they could use they don't know because it has they that the suit has to They get the suit filled that interaction is yes, but I love science class, right But Let's move on You can't get the right let's move on Oh my god, that's insane. I have never heard no shit like that and I would I have fucked that I have that There's not enough cheating in the world. Fuck that shit Yeah, then on that note Time for the beer flight of the night I Was gonna say something else about it, but it's right.
No, I don't want it. No, I was gonna talk about the Olympic real quick. Oh All right, well, I was I was gonna say that you brought up like us not being patriotic right now, probably possibly Well, not possibly we're not but a lot of like the people like the Like people that represent the United States one are mainly a good chunk of them are immigrants.
They Or parents were immigrants that came to the US Oh, so just gonna say that but also a lot of them are speaking out like in their interviews and uh Her name is Amber Glenn. I think she's from Plano. She's one of the figure skaters For the US and she actually like in one of her interviews is like I don't agree with Trump I don't agree with anything he's doing she's also I think the first openly Queer person on the US team Ever I could be wrong.
I read that but I know that as far as figure skating go okay openly. Yeah Openly you are correct. Yeah And she tweeted or put on her and say I'm recently that she has to get off of Instagram because the amount of hate that she's gotten Oh, yeah for sure and her dad is a police sergeant for Plano like so Been hanging we live in a world of Division and right now in the United States and uh, yeah, I just I think that has a lot to do with the because it hasn't been um I think so much is going on.
Mm-hmm. I think the Winter Olympics we kind of overlooked. Yeah like But also you can't like a lot of them feel they can't stay silent With a plot.
Well, no, I'm saying like I'm saying like as far as like viewership. Oh, yeah, like if they're we're not watching NBC because I mean NBC. We see news nightly and honestly like like oh my god Another story another scandal another like you know saying like so it's like I think people are more like It's almost sad to say but I think they're like veging out like on Netflix and HBO.
I will say like that I'm watching it on peacock And there's a whole section where you can even pick. Yeah Which sport you want to watch right no news Ah, it's just straight. Oh, that's how they get you with the app see yeah, that's how they get you But it's worth it.
It is worth it. Yeah, and like barely any commercials. It's fantastic Okay, we're out of the night and now We're getting into beer flight of the night All the beers of beer flight of the night are from Ranger Creek Brewing shout out to them like I said.
I went down to San Antonio Howdy good time and I want to go back and try some of their bourbon and rum next because Apparently they're famous for their bourbon. They've been open to 15 years. Mm-hmm Still no iG um Ha ha ha Shout out to them though they were fucking nice and sad they were cool as hell and and they have some beers on tap that they haven't put in cans yet that they I was very tempted to try but I had my son in the car and Didn't want to drink and drive with him in the car especially because that's crazy First up We have Dog in the hunt Well, that's crazy.
I literally found Ranger Creek's Instagram Really yeah, that's crazy because the girls told me they didn't have an Instagram see that's wild my bad my bad Ranger Creek my bad We're gonna just take that part out. No, but anyway. It says that's a good boy.

There's something flavor there It's just straight up running right very crushable um I could see probably knocking like ten of these down and not feeling like I'm drunk I Could just be me though Next up we have love struck hefe It is a wheat beer so half a vison half a vison four percent says 5.5 On their thing. It says 5.4 Oh wow a point Anyway Oh, this looks this looks banana clove Yeah Ah, I don't smell the bananas more clove I think This is what this is the beer that got them started as a brewery.

It didn't even work That's the crazy part about it. It did not even work Ah And sometimes you should just stay in the truck Oh my god Oh, that was good. I almost choked Ah reading to me care.
I shouldn't even check on me Oh man and that What's beer goggles of the week stay your ass in the truck and now it's time for The six pack of the week and who knew That white men could jump And here we are twenty six years later and he's the head coach. Let's get out of the door Throwing it down Someone is calling ESPN. I know they are because he's gonna Yeah, somebody needs to be calling ESPN because my god.
Why is he not on top 10? Um and steaming castle Went absolutely Reddably crazy against the maps and this is just downright blasphemous And it's a 30 point triple double first of all castle From the heavens From the heavens Hey, rust even castle with the triple double. I just I don't this is insane Uh, about as insane as this all you from For mr.
Car. This is brah. What the hell That is a That's crazy Reverse alley you dunk is insane.
I mean his head looked like it was about to hit the backboard like Ah We got a shout out this uh This sport this is a sport now um and essentially I remember we first looked at this and They were doing this in the fields on football fields and now they didn't turn this thing into a full-on Sport this is crazy Oh Look at this that is textbook Yeah Jesus This is actually now a sports sponsored that spot man that sponsor anything well This fan is about to be a legend on campus with this shot Oh Ten racks about to be cutting up Ah And speaking of cutting up ice skating Back flips are back Let's go I'm not everything feels perfect and you push through Beautiful looking back flip no points no points He didn't get points for that he stuck that Nope, no points, but with that routine. He won gold for us In the team division, so that's okay because What would you mean no points bitch? You know how hard that is No points And it does for the love of the game It's crazy And that was The six pack of the week And now it's time For the conversations at the keg And this Is very confusing But did you know that Nike is being sued by the government for DEI practices Nike The ee the ee OC, which is like the equal opportunity whatever for jobs and career whatever, you know, it's fucking ee OC chair Is suing or pursuing Nike Basically stating that they Wrongfully terminated their white employees or discriminated against their white candidates for employment And she is running commercials at this point asking if you've been discriminated against and watch as you're a victim and need to step forward The chair of the ee OC Is suing Nike For DEI practices, I don't I don't think I think I'm in the twilight zone I don't know what I What She Listen this boils down to two things first off she said She was gonna try to get rid of DEI and and and run she ran heavy on this and Trump appointed her Because of this and things of that nature and she's been Talking about this for forever now talking about, you know, it should be about merit not about race or skin color and things like that which I wholeheartedly agree It should be Don't be surprised if the merit is slid a little lopsided sometimes on certain things certain things let's Everybody should get an equal opportunity DEI was that for more than just black people it was for women as well white women at that I don't I don't understand it I Though Emma conspiracy theorist at heart In my mind, I'm not because I have to calm myself down But it at heart I'm a conspiracy theorist and I believe this goes all the way back to a time When Colin Kaepernick was kneeling during the anthem I believe that that whole situation where he took a knee and was getting all the publicity and Trump Made it a point to Fire him and fuck him and all this other shit that he was talking and curl going crazy Nike supported Caps voice ran a campaign with it and gave him more of a voice for the process and things of that nature and To be honest, I think This is just backlash from that.
I think Nike's kind of like what we don't because there's there hasn't been any employees stepping forward Or ex employees saying that yeah, I was racially discriminating again because I was white Huh Like The founder and president and see like is white. What what are we talking about Now I'm granted If you want to talk about we not talk about the the the sweat camps in in in in Asia Where they're they're they're paying them pennies on the dollar to sow the sneakers which I'm wearing Listen, I know what happened to sweatshops everybody wears nikes. I read Jordans a D they all do the same thing Okay That is the price we've paid to make Nike famous or millions upon billions of dollars, right?
But We're not suing for the just cause of that they're suing because they feel like they again Supported the wrong side And this is the first time we're seeing a DEI lawsuit against a major corporation a major brand And no matter your thoughts on cap and no matter your thoughts on Nike and no matter your thoughts on Trump or any of this stuff this is a weird It's a weird angle to go. This is basically leaning towards suppression of their first amendment Oh, so you want to support and argue the fact of somebody else That we don't agree with he disrespected our quote-unquote flag which by the way Kid rock Warn All punched a hole and wore an American flag as a poncho Onstage Nobody remembers this it wasn't a great performance, but Everybody was freaking out nobody freaked out about that nobody bad and deny But because somebody kneeled now we're upset and because that money don't speak English now we're upset This is leaning very weird towards suppression of the first amendment and I'm just just think about it All I'm asking is you to think about it. I'm not going into You know whether you side with either side listen you can but if you Are going against whatever regime there is right now.
They are going to muzzle you and put you in lawsuits until you cannot Afford to continue to keep going and just say fuck it What do you want me to do? What do you want what we got to settle What do we got to settle to fucking make this happen because basically that's what's gonna happen They're gonna take Nike to court Nike's gonna all right here. There's a little money I say a little but again Trump has made He's up to two billion right now if y'all ain't paying attention But Lesson y'all keep calling him a smart businessman.
He's fucking scaring me to shit out of y'all But that's neither you But I think though like it is very weird to see Them take this route and it's just something to think about man. I just I don't know man because it's like that's a slippery slope and Are we going to continue down this path and who's next? Who's next like is it gonna be The NFL is it gonna be the NBA which right now I'm feeling like someone the NBA too, so Shoot at them EEOC shit But yeah, I mean just something to think about here here and This is beer 30 sports o'clock and we like the first minute You This is a stolen water media production
