This is Beer thirty Sports o'clock. Oh, it's not opening the wait. It's not opening the wait.

Not the performance issues. Wow. No.

As you all can see, we are in a completely different place today. We are at the Gray Wolf Lair. I'll call it that.

And this episode's beer is brought to you... Man, that was good. It's brought to you by Jester King.

It is called the Gary's, and it is a West Coast style IPA. Yep. An American IPA, 7.2%.

It is citra, mosaic hops, clean and floral. Just a little bit bitter, not too shabby. How's it feel drinking a...

Drinking from a can this time? Refreshing. I'm not gonna lie.

Very refreshing. I I can honestly say that I have missed recording in a studio because of the can essence. But don't get us wrong, the Statler, we still love you.

Yeah. No. No.

No. No. I'm not saying it that way, but there's nothing like opening up a can and just crack...

Just hearing the crack and then... It just tastes better. It just tastes better.

But, yes, we are temporarily at the Grey Wolf Lair this week. The Stattler, we love you, yes, but we had to take a break. They had to take a break from us.

Yeah, they got booked out for a party or something. Whatever. They're too bougie for us right now.

We don't deal with that. Right now, right now, we are gonna worry about who loves us and, you know, those who love us are on the mic, you can see. If you if you can't see that, that's that's them right there right now.

Anyway, let's get into it. News, you can booze too. This is gonna be weird reaching back.

Single little daddy. News, you can booze too. Anyway, that was almost like the...

Those are the Nissan or the Jeep commercial that I did just... I don't know. That was not...

That's always your go to for that one, though, is the... I think that's the one that... I think that is, like, the Jeep commercial.

I swear, I think I I see it or hear it every time It's I come a rock song. Like, beginning of a rock song? It...

That might I think it's a Metallica song. Oh, no. It's Welcome to the Jungle.

You... I was gonna say you might be right, but I don't know. I think it's Welcome to the Jungle.

Again, hence why I've seen it. It's, yeah, I think I've seen it on, like, a Jeep commercial or something like that. But, anyway, besides the point, Pat McAfee.

No? And that was with waving of the eggs. What?

Pat McAfee, have you seen this? The beef that he has with Utah University right now. So for those of you who don't watch college football, who don't watch college game day, college game day is a show where they basically go out to campuses and they, like, they pick a game of the week.

They go out to the college, and they do, a pregame. Pat McAfee, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstre. For those of you that, you know, have been watching the show, know I'm a big fan.

Lee Corso just happened to retire and things like that. So I forget the other guy's name. He's not that important.

My apologies. But Pat McAfee went to Utah University last... Two weeks ago.

And I wasn't gonna... We were gonna talk about it last week, but it was kinda like, you know, I don't know. We kinda mulled over it.

We talked too much, I guess, or whatever. Me and Cam was going back and forth a little bit, which Cam's not here this week. But but...

Yeah. So And work. Yeah.

As I say, you know, listen. Bill's gotta be paid. Hopefully, you all voted.

But, yeah, the Pat McAfee situation is kinda weird. So he went to Utah University, and I guess, apparently, what happened was he... Right before he went on stage for college game day in front of Utah University fans and all of the the, you know, student body and things like that to watch the game or pregame and watch college game day.

There was a video that was posted by Utah University that he did not take a liking to. He was very upset with it. He was he was was was moved negatively about it.

Then there was also a situation where they, you know, they... On college game day, they do these kicks. Again, if you've watched the show, I've highlighted these a couple of times because they're always so damn funny and so exciting and things of that nature, especially watching them live.

Like, you just... You're hoping the person makes it so they get that money. Well, this person made it, and I don't remember if it was a girl or guy, but it was a student, and he offered a million dollars.

Now I don't know about you, but in this economy? I know nowhere. A million...

No. A million dollars is a lot of damn money. I don't give a fuck whatever.

I don't care what nobody's telling you. A million dollars is a lot. A million dollars is a lot of damn money.

Okay? Second of all, the girl or the guy or, the student, whoever made the kick, said only a million dollars in his face, in his face, which is insane. Okay?

Fuck is wrong with you. So it was very entitled of the person to do that. It was very entitled of the university to do that.

I hear you. If I was Pat, I would be upset with it too because not only am I bringing and doing infomercials for your school, I'm bringing attention to your school. Yes.

You're having a great college football year this year. But other than that, do they really know Utah University? Does anybody really wanna go to fucking Utah?

If so, they wanna It's go to the people that couldn't get into BYU. But that's neither here nor there. I will say, though, in this day and age in this economy, a million dollars, yes, it's a lot of money.

But when you really think about it, it it can only get you so far because they're in college, so they have to pay for their college stuff. Brie. What?

You're bugging. Just saying, like, is a lot of money. I'm not saying that it's not a lot of money.

Stop letting social media A ruin your million dollars scotch spree. Scotch, like... Do they have to pay taxes on it?

I don't... I doubt it because at the end of the day, it's it's, well, yes, because it's winnings or something like But it's a million taxes out of it. Million dollars towards your school and anything left over, whatever the fuck.

Like, a million dollars, like Oh, it's not even towards the person? It's towards the school? Well, it's towards their scholarship, I think.

I think it's like it wipes out their scholarship, and any money left over basically goes to them. It doesn't fucking matter. K?

I'm gonna say. A million dollars is a lot of fucking money, man. Like, I really wish we would stop this narrative.

Like, a 100,000 a year isn't any money. No. You're living above your fucking means.

That's your problem. A million dollars is a lot of damn money. A million dollars is a lot of money.

I don't... I I just we we agree to disagree on that. That's crazy as hell.

I wasn't saying it wasn't a lot of money. Uh-huh. I just said...

I was... I literally said it is a lot of money. But?

But when you take out the taxes, when you take out your scholarship, when you take out... Like, it it goes down. Okay.

We talking maybe seven? Was it was it a little out...... Thousand?

Was it a little out of pocket for her to say that? Yeah. I'm not saying that it wasn't.

A little? It was a lot out of pocket. Why the fuck would you say that?

How much money did she have before that? Depends. Right.

Depends on the parents. It's not... Probably not a lot.

So to say that as an entitled fucking asshole, to say that... And to the person to the person on camera, you're embarrassing this man. And that's that's...

It's uncalled for. And it's like, I can under... Again, I can understand Pat McAfee being upset with Utah.

And he even said it live when they were, like, leaving the, you know, ending the show. He was like, Yeah, University of Utah, see you never. And he was dead ass serious.

He's probably never coming to Utah University again. Now, where I think he got a little overly sensitive was he was harping on the video. Yeah, that video.

I watched it. I was like, Really? This is...

Video was not that bad. They just told you you're cringe. Grow up.

Right. Like, if anything if anything, the guys were... The guys that he was like, oh, they basically call me creepy to keep my shirt on.

Was like, no. They said they love you, but keep your shirt on. Like, it's a bunch of dudes you sitting with.

We don't wanna... Like, and that's what the... That's what college frat guy culture is.

Like, we all make gay jokes. No offense to the gay community, but we just do. That's what...

That's what... Guys do. With his shirt off.

I agree. Keep your shirt on. And and again...

And the other dude was saying something like... He was like, Oh, you know, he's gonna say something corny. And I was like...

And he said the line, and I was like, Damn, I've heard Pat kinda say something like that before. It's kinda like, Come on, man. You can't even be mad at this video.

Where I think he got overly sensitive and invoked Charlie Kirk's name, like, was crazy. Yeah. And and the media the media has a right to be...

Most... Mostly women, minorities, the the LGBTQ plus coalition. I gotta think when I say that shit.

It was very frustrating. You got it right, though. Yeah.

Because I was like, fuck. Let me not fuck this up. But any of those media members, look at their Twitter and DMs.

Mhmm. Bro, they get death threats. All the time.

They get fucking... You don't know shit because you you don't have a dick swinging between your legs. You're not do x y and z.

Rape... You you rape fucking, threats. They get fucking your I'm gonna fucking kill your wife threats, like, or your husband or your...

Like, I would love for him to swap places with Jamelle Hill. Now, mind you, Jamelle Hill lives in that infamy, in that rage baiting race world, but she is very intelligent, takes nothing away from her talent and her intelligence. But she low key almost feeds off of it a little bit, and I follow her.

Love following her because her clapbacks be fucking hilarious. But, like, even Mina Kimes is starting to get it. And Mina Kimes is the sweetest fucking person out there, and she gets fucking destroyed on Twitter.

God forbid she missed by a point or something on a fucking, percentage while Dan Orlowski doesn't even know what percentage fucking means. Oh, you didn't see that clip. Oh, I should've sent that clip to you too.

Dan Orlowski went on Pat McAfee show, I think, the same day Mhmm. Talking about... So, yeah, I just learned this new thing.

Like, just learned this thing about percentages. Did you... Do you...

You know what a percent is? I'm sorry, sir. What?

Like, just in general or sports related? In general. Oh my god.

It's the same thing in sports. It is it is Just goat element. You don't know what...

Yeah. I'm like, what the fuck do you mean you don't know what percent... Now now?

Can you convert a decimal to a percentage? That's a different question. But do you know what percents are?

That's, like, common fucking sense. Like... And then on top of that, like, you work in a sports show or sports media, so you should know these things, but I digress.

Mhmm. I digress. We are on Pat.

Pat, listen, man. I am a fan. I love what you have done up until now with ESPN.

I feel like you've gotten a little weird lately, but I do think that you invoking Charlie Kirk, the horrible thing that happened to him, and and putting yourself in the same limelight is kinda crazy. And what really makes me kinda weirded out by this whole situation is you play a villain in WWE. Excuse me.

You are a... You you you know wrestling. You're in the wrestling world.

You play the villain. Like, to be so sensitive was crazy to me. Like, I didn't understand it at all.

But I digress, man. Let's just... Let's let's get to college football, man.

Let's get to the real shit. USC beat Ohio State. Now Ohio State had their backup quarterback in, so I don't give USC as much credit Even though the USC fans and college kids stormed the field, like, this was the worst storming.

This is the reason they should stop letting people storm the field. This was the worst storming of the field I've ever seen. People were literally jumping over this fence that's not that high.

It was a 100 yards down and was just fucking their knees up every... I wish I had the video. I couldn't find the video in time, but I saw somebody belly flop off the fucking fence.

And it was... I watched some of this live and I was like, bro, why are these people storming it? They are going crazy.

And I get it. Ohio State, I understand. It's Ohio State.

You're in the Big Ten. That's a big win for USC and Lincoln Riley. Do I think it's enough to save Lincoln Riley's job?

No. I think that once they lose again, because it's gonna happen, they... Lincoln's pretty much gone after this year, which his buyout is crazy.

I mean, fucking crazy. But I don't think he's gonna I don't think he's gonna stay. I think he's gonna end up having to leave.

I think they're gonna do it quietly, as they can. And I think it's gonna be at the end of the season. They're just gonna part ways and and and do...

Eventually, I think, like, college is gonna start doing, like, trades. I think college football is gonna start doing trades for coaches, for staff, for players, and things like that. I think we're getting ready to get in that ballpark because the amount of money that Norvel just got to walk away from Florida State.

50. You wanna talk about millions ain't shit. A million ain't shit.

Motherfucker just got 50 to walk away. 50. Ugh.

Absolutely disgusting. I don't know. I just feel like, yeah, Lincoln Riley is not gonna survive this this whole season.

Another person that's not gonna survive is OU's coach, Venables. I mean, Jesus Christ, dude. South Carolina is not that good.

Miami, number one in the country, man. Almost fell. Almost fell to, UNC.

This is the team that we were hoping to see when Blaseck came to UNC. This is the offense and the defense, which their offense is not great, but their defense is pretty good, and they stick close in games. They had...

They're disciplined now. They are much, much better now that all the circus is not around Bill. And, yes, I mean, his son and his ex girlfriend.

Did you know they broke up, Bri? Mm-mm. She got real quiet about her.

Remember, we couldn't go a week without seeing her in the news when they first got to UNC. Right? Quiet is kept.

They broke up during the first season. During the first season of the football that he was... The football season that he was there, they fucking broke up, and it was quiet as kept.

Nobody even... They didn't come out until this weekend. Because I think somebody asked them like, Hey, where the fuck is...

Did you bury her somewhere? And it was like, like, what the fuck? Berry is crazy.

I mean, just saying, like, you know, these days, she used to be attached to his hip, and now all of a sudden, she's nowhere to be found, and it's kinda crazy. So people were asking questions, but, yeah, barrier is crazy. Listen.

How do you feel about the the firing of of Florida State's head coach, Norvel? It was for the best. For the best?

I think so. I mean, watching that game on Saturday, I was just... I literally looked at the bartender.

I said, can you turn this off? Yeah. Yes.

It's a fun to watch the Saturday was bad, man. And, like, with the fight that they put up against Miami, the fight that they were putting up throughout the season is like, okay. They play...

They're playing very well against teams that... You know what I'm saying? That they shouldn't be compared to what they...

Whatever. But it's just like, who are you gonna get is my question because that's the biggest thing for me is like, you let him go, sure, fine, whatever, but who are you gonna get now? Who are you gonna get in replace of him?

Who are gonna call? Who are gonna call? Ghostbusters!

No. I don't I I don't know I don't know what y'all are gonna do for your next coach, and I think that's the biggest concern because you are poor when it comes to salary cap, if you And, yeah, I just don't know who y'all gonna get Unless y'all go steal somebody from like, say, UCF, Colorado, Dion might be a move. But he's gonna want too much money.

He's gonna want all the money, so it's not gonna make sense. Unless he does a sweet deal. Maybe he'll go pick for maybe a smaller school.

Yeah, I think like a UCF, USF, but they're getting paid more money than... Like UWF maybe? Who the fuck is it?

University of West Florida. Jesus Christ. They won their championship last year, I wanna say.

What? In division four? I don't remember.

That's a school my parents go to... Went to. So That's not a division.

It was a joke. Okay. I was like, I don't know.

She was like, yeah. Sure. Whatever, motherfucker.

Live your dreams. That's the division you want. Sure.

Yeah. No. That's that's funny.

I do wanna give a shout out to Minnesota, though, because Minnesota and Minnesota's coach is crazy, But they actually stuck with Indiana and should have won that game. And, yeah, they just... Indiana, man, they just figured out a way to get down to the...

To get it done. So... Yeah.

WNBA. Let's talk about it, man. Golden State Valkyries are the champions of the WNBA.

Here, here. I'm clapping for them. I'm clapping for them.

Listen. Second year in the league or third... Second or third...

Second year in the league, and they won the championship. First Asian American coach to win a WNBA championship as a coach. And even though she was she wasn't...

She was an assistant coach with the aces. That doesn't count. She's...

You know, whatever. It's a head coach now. Shout out to the valkyries.

They played very well. As a fan of the league, it went seven games, and that's all I could ask for. And it was seven good games except for, like, maybe one.

One game was kind of a blowout, but other than that, it went seven games despite all the the scheduling nonsense, the drama with the the Angel Reese talking back and forth. Angel Reese, I think, is... This is her origin story, her origin villain story, losing the championship in seven games.

I feel like she's... They're going to bounce back. Atlanta has a bright, bright future, and I think that they're going to continue to build on that.

So shout out to them. Shout out to Golden State again. I just feel like, you know, I gotta shout them out because a lot of people were counting them out when Angel and them came out and won that second game in Chase Stadium.

Everybody was talking crazy. Oh, it's... You know, it's these...

Atlanta got that dog in them and Valkyries don't know what to do with it. And Kevin on... Kev on stage, yeah.

Some of y'all were going out of pocket, like colorism was crazy. It was just super stupid weird because there was black girls on both sides and it was just really, really weird how y'all were going on Twitter. I was just...

I just thought I'd send that out real quick. Like, I gotta relax, bro. Just enjoy the game.

NFL. Because we're not gonna talk NBA this week because I don't wanna talk about anything but Lucas' ankles because Steph Curry is is that man, and he continues to show he's that man. But, but, yeah, we'll just move on past that because it's early in the season.

NFL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers made history this Sunday. Bri, did you see any of the NFL games? No.

Of course not. No? Well I was at the Cowboys game.

Remember? You were at the Cowboys game. Oh my god.

Was there a ride outside the stadium? Oh, it was bad. Literally everyone left, and I wanted to leave too.

It was it was really bad. I so I watched most of the game, you know, because I'm working, so I have to watch the game. Right.

And then... As if you don't enjoy the game. Alright.

Go ahead. And then I looked down for like two seconds. I looked back up and we were losing a moment.

The fuck? What happened? So since you brought that up, yeah, that is the first time the the Cardinals are one and some ungodly number when losing in the fourth quarter.

Mhmm. They have only won one game besides Sunday's game before that. And the Cowboys, when leading into the fourth quarter, are, like, 60 something and and, like, one.

Yeah. How do you lose that game? Like, how do you let...

Gardner Minshew, who I didn't even know was still in the league, come in and go three for three. Three touchdown draw... Three drives, three touchdowns, and then the kicker...

I don't know what the fuck the kicker was doing, bro. How do you how do you hook that? He choked.

All he had to do is make an extra point. So some people said that he did it on purpose so they could go into overtime and just beat the cowboys in overtime. But even though...

Please. Why take the risk? That didn't even make any fucking sense.

That's crazy as hell. Yeah. Absolutely insane.

But since you didn't... And then I... So I missed all the 12 games.

I was driving in traffic for the three games. I didn't get home till around six. And by that point, I was done.

Done. Because I had to wake up at 4AM to be there at 6AM. So I was like, nope.

I did not watch a single game. I know the Bills won. And the Chiefs lost.

That's how I got it. I'll give you a little... Give you...

Alright, the games I highlighted, Tampa Bay. First off, Tampa Bay, I am so glad that we went when we did, me and my son, because they have had weather issues, Mhmm. And Sunday was bad in Florida.

Like, Sunday was, like, flooding in bad and weather delays and things like that. And they literally played in, a monsoon. Right?

Tampa Bay won sixteen zero and did not complete a pass. You know what? Not Good for you.

Complete a pass. Like, even... I wish to carry with our brief, but, really?

Like, I don't know. You guys can do that. Yes.

They didn't complete No. The fact is that you could, like, you know Yeah. They set the they set the NFL back about fifty to sixty years because the...

That is the last time it's ever happened is, like, fifty seven. Was the other team just sitting on the sidelines a little bit? So the other Didn't wanna play.

The other team, basically, Michael Penix threw four interceptions. Right? Baker May...

Baker Mayfield, like I said, only... He had zero completions. This motherfucker only attempted three passes.

So Penix had... Penix, Atlanta's quarterback, had more interceptions Mhmm. Than Baker had attempts at passing the...

That's crazy. That is I mean, he put his seat. It's raining that bad.

That is insanity, but, like I'm surprised that let the game keep going. Listen. They play in the snow.

You play in the rain. Listen. As long as there's no lightning within five.

As as there's no lightning, then you good, which in Miami and in Tampa and that area, like, it rains all... You know, it rains all the time. Like, when it starts pouring, it's pouring.

Like, you you start... And there's... Right now, I think there's...

Yeah. It's flooding in in Miami, some parts and stuff like that. Like, this is the...

This is that season. Yeah. Literally watched a lady on TikTok today paddleboard to her voting Mhmm.

Thing. And I was like, you know what? That's commitment.

And I I... You do what you gotta do. Listen.

That's that's... I don't know if I would paddleboard in Miami with them goddamn gators, but sure. Yeah.

She she literally had a gun with her. Yeah. That's what I was saying.

I don't see any gator. Anytime flooding happens, that shit is all... They always find a way to rise up and come with the flooding because Well, because it was just her neighborhood that was flooded.

And so she paddleboarded to... Like, right out of her neighborhood. Oh, and it was And they...

The voting place, brought a car and picked her up and put their daughter. And they were doing that for everywhere. I look at that democracy, working.

Hard at work. Working on our fairs, for some of us. Baltimore lost to the Bills, and, you know, we're all happy about that.

But I'm concerned. Baltimore has a quarterback situation that is about to get really sticky because Lamar Jackson, the... One of the greater quarterbacks in the league, one of the top athletic quarterbacks in the league.

And the other thing that you could say about him and his superstardom is he's also a very big injury risk. He's been hurt already this season. Now he's out for the season with a fluke thumb injury.

I'm not blaming that really on him. He threw the ball, hit the helmet, not his fault. It broke something and, you know, whatever the case may be.

Fluke. Fluke. Fluke.

Fluke. Fluke. But he's on his second to last year of his contract.

And those of you that pay attention to the NFL, you know, especially for the quarterback or offensive players, when they start getting closer to that end of their contract because NFL money is not guaranteed, they always try to renegotiate that contract. They always try to renegotiate and get an extension so that if they're on the books, they already... You know, they got a signing bonus.

They got blah blah blah blah blah. Where it gets sticky is, like, the last year for the Ravens for... And and Lamar is...

He is owed, I think, like, 80,000,000. So it's not a... They can't cut him.

Right? Because, obviously, stupid. I don't think they would cut him, but trading him makes that really hard because it's so a fact.

And, yes, I am talking about trading Lamar Jackson from Baltimore because I think with moving the coach to letting the coach go and going every every way that they did, I think that with these injuries and everything like that, they are gonna start doing a fire sale. There's already rumors out there about Derrick Henry possibly being traded. There's already rumors out there about, their tight end being traded, some of their offensive linemen.

Green Bay, please, for the love of God, call them. But, yeah, I think that, like, you're going to have to start looking at the options. Lamar may leave Baltimore.

Lamar may be traded. He may request a trade, because I do think that that that time is done. I think that time is very, very, very close to being done.

I could be wrong. I could be wrong, but I think now that they have a new regime, new coaching staff, they're gonna probably start rebuilding in the image that the coach wants. Because I don't think Lamar is the answer.

I think Lamar has too many injuries. I think Lamar is, as Greg O was saying, he's not of that quarterback build. He's a little flimsy like Jaden Daniels when everybody's been talking about him.

Lamar's in that same boat. I think Lamar is a great quarterback. Let me not...

Don't don't put words in my mouth. I think he's a great quarterback, but I also think that injuries play... You...

Your best ability is availability. And if you're not available to play throughout the season because you're always getting hurt, I can't I can't rock with you. Huntley came in, and he was only in for, like, two minutes, and then the Bills just continued to beat the hell out of everybody.

We already talked about Arizona. I don't really I don't really wanna talk about Arizona or the Cowboys anymore because it was... Man, I mean, it was bad.

Kansas City, do we wanna... Do you wanna talk about your Kansas City Chiefs losing? I mean, your Bills won, so, you know My Bills won, and that's okay.

You know? And I'm kinda mad at the Chiefs right now, so I'm okay. Oh, yeah.

With the Justin Tucker thing. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Andy Reid, what the fuck are you doing? Hey, man. I heard that man came through for tryouts and hit 32 for 30 twos.

And I don't condone this shit. I think that it's foul as fuck, that he's on the prac... But he's on the practice squad.

One. And then two But I do love that the kicker keeps missing. And then Butker keeps...

Yeah. Like And I'm go with the Butker the sexist. Every every Which which one do you want?

Like a thing that said, every time Butker misses a field goal, another woman gets a degree instead. I'm like, yeah. Hey, listen.

Again, this is one of those things where you watch... You gotta watch what you say sometimes because the the football gods, man, they make sure that you pay one way or the other, so you gotta watch what you fucking say. And, you know, it's funny to me because everybody in the NFC North, won except for the Vikings.

There are no more undefeated teams. Thank God. So tired of hearing about the purple people eaters and the Vikings.

School. Go fuck yourself. Is he...

Do you know how he's doing? Who? The lions.

The lions are good. No. The lions player.

The one that went to the hospital during the game? Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. So I...

There has been no con... Confirmation yet, but it's not as bad as what it looked like. Okay.

So shoot me. Kind of a situation where it's most likely season ending, but it's not like life impaling kind of situation. I didn't I didn't really look into it, honestly.

I... I'm not gonna lie to you. I didn't I didn't look into it too far, but I didn't see any news that he was gonna be...

Yeah, didn't see any news. That's it. They're supposed to be doing MRIs today and tomorrow.

I'll take a gander. Was gonna say, sorry, they were supposed to actually do MRIs and everything today, so I haven't seen anything come out about it yet, or I may have seen it and skipped right past it and didn't even pay attention. But the NFC North is the only division...

First off, it's the best division. I keep telling you motherfuckers. It's the best this...

Best division in the league. Only division that has every single team over 500 by multiple games, by two or more games. Green Bay is last place at five and three.

Like, come on, man. Detroit is six and two. The the Vikings are six and one.

They just came off the bye week. The the bears are six and two or five and two. They came off the bye week.

Like, we are kicking ass and taking names, and I am so happy to see it. It just sucks because I'm in that division, and, we're technically last. So, you know, we may miss the playoffs, to be honest, if this continues.

We just have to win out. We got the patriots next, and I'm just really looking forward to it. I will be going to the rams game for Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving eve, so I'm excited about that.

So... Yeah. Because I don't believe in the Rams and fuck the Rams.

But there is still one team that is a winless team, and it's the fucking charges. The charges. I just love saying...

Love being right, Bri. There is one thing I do love. I love being right, and I also love saying I fucking told you so.

And, yes, with the fucking in there. I told you so. Herbert is garbage.

He's overrated. Mike McDaniels is gonna be fired very soon, and Harbaugh better be careful because he might get fired very soon if he don't get rid of that dude and fix this shit and win a game. Like, what are we doing?

You can't blame anybody but that offense. Their offense is, like, dead last in stats. Almost every single stat you can think of, they are almost dead last.

That is atrocious. Herbert is garbage. Mike McDams might be the first coach to go o two Super Bowl because I feel like he's gonna lose some more games, get fired, and go be a special assistant.

I heard this on a podcast too, but I feel like they were right. He's gonna end up going to San Francisco on some special assistant shit, and San Francisco's gonna get to the Super Bowl because of that bullshit. And I'd be so fucking pissed off because fuck that sunglasses wearing dickhead.

But, anyway, before we get to bed a beer, bed the house, I would like to say a word for Dudley's. Oh, didn't do it. Yep.

It didn't do it. I love this thing. Ah, I got it.

Don't DIY your football watching party. Dudley's Sports Grill is your football watching headquarters. Get your crew together, get some better food by far, and let someone else serve real drinks.

Go to Dudley's at 2927 North Henderson Avenue, or you can go to Dudley's in Rockwall at 2975 Texas Highway 66. Shout out to Dudley's. We have a great time anytime we go there.

Right off 75. You can't miss it. It's just right off North Henderson.

But now it's time for Better Beer or Bet the House sponsored by Bet MGM. Better Beer or Bet the House. I think I'm gonna do that from now on every time we do this.

Listen. I went one and two. I don't know.

I gotta double check Cam's stats. We'll check him when he gets in next show, next episode. But this week, I feel like I'm gonna switch.

I'm gonna go undefeated. Just hear me out. Hear me out.

Hear me out. Only reason I didn't go two and one is because damn, the Jaguars who I knew were gonna handle... I said the titans, but it was the colts, but I knew they were gonna handle them pretty easily, but whatever.

I got Virginia Tech versus SMU. I'm taking the under at 55 and a half. Now mind you, it's Tuesday, so some of these lines may move up or down or whatever the case would be.

But if you can catch that 55 and a half, take it. Both these teams in their last six games have hit the under. Both.

Both teams. Six and o to the under. So Take the under.

Just trust me. Take the under. Nebraska versus Illinois.

Also both teams are the same like Virginia Tech and and SMU. I'm taking the over... I mean, I'm taking the under because Nebraska against a winning record team are five and o to the under.

Illinois, our winning record team, are five are five and o. And Illinois last four games are under. They're four and o on the under.

So, again, four and five and no overs. I'm taking the under. So take the under at fifty fifty and a half.

Just just just hear me out. Hear me out. Also, Virginia Tech and Illinois...

Or SMU play on Friday night, and usually Friday night games are either, like, super blowouts or, like, super close and low. So just hear me out. Short week.

Last but not least, Detroit versus Miami, and that is Detroit lions versus Miami dolphins. I know I'm picking on the losers, and I know I'm continuing to pick on the dolphins, but I'm I'm taking the lions to win. Lions offense looks really, really good.

They continue to dominate. They continue to pull out these plays. They made Vikings defense look crazy on a couple of different things.

Look out for Jamere Gibbs to have a day. Look out for Amos St. Brown to have a day.

Listen. Listen. Take the lions spread at minus six and a half if you can catch it there, or just take them on the money line.

Doesn't matter. Take them. And you can bet a beer or bet the house on that.

And now it's time for beer flight of the night. You gonna have any beers? Beers.

Beers. Fly up the night. Beer.

Fly up the night. You wanna hand me the beers, I have to... Is it...

How did Oh, I'm sorry. I thought I thought I was just playing it, and it would go back to my scary... I am sorry.

Okay. I'm sorry. See?

Clearly, I'm working Breathe Too Hard over here. Alright. Like, no.

I'm going to ignore you, actually. See, this is why I should've just kept him over here in the first place. Alright.

So... I'm like, And that's... Alright.

So first up is gonna be Belching Beaver, Brewery, and it is their... Must be the honey Blonde Ale. This is your...

Yeah, this is all you. Yeah. Give me one second because somebody...

Got me doing too much. Is being really mean. It is 5.5%.

It is a blonde golden. It is very... Do you know the, that cereal, the honey cereal?

Not honey bunches of oats. Honey Nut Cheerios? Yeah.

It's very reminiscent on that. Okay. Sweet, smooth, and subtle.

Nice. Okay. I like how it smells.

That's good. Really light. Really questionable.

Definitely, definitely gives the Honey Nut Cheerios vibe. Definitely something that I... You could drink that really year round.

Like, that's actually really, really, really... That's really good. So, yeah.

Yeah, yeah. I'm rocking with that. I wouldn't say summer, but that's definitely something you could drink all...

It feels like all year round. Mhmm. Next up, I have Celestial Beer Works, and it is their welcome to the space jam.

It is their peanut butter and jelly inspired sour ale. It is 5.2%. It is a barley, Berliner Weiss, actually.

Not a sour. Says sour ale on the can. I'm just telling you what's the can.

Always trying to blame me. It's obviously based on Space Jam, the movie. Word up.

We know we love a good Space Jam. Favorite sports movie? Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and just a little bit of peanut butter.

Nah. I smell peanuts and Nerf heavy. I mean, peanut butter is a very overwhelming and powerful.

It is. Yeah. I can hear the sizzle in my headphones.

Is it sizzling in your headphones? Yeah. From the beer.

Good. They got the effect. Oh, that's really good.

Mhmm. It's not it's not oversour. I guess I do like the lighter sours.

We've we've had this discussion before. But, yeah, the the... This is actually really good.

I don't really taste very much peanut butter, so if you're looking for that, you're not gonna find it in drinking this. Now smelling it, you'll smell the peanuts, but you're not gonna drink the peanuts, if that makes sense. Don't do that.

Yo. Am I gonna drink them peanuts? Yep.

That's... Knew that's where we were going. See?

Alright. And next up. This is the Turning Point Sports Fruit Punch.

They actually have multiple versions of this beer. Uh-huh. This is just their fruit punch one.

It is for... Oh. Woah.

It is... Oh, shit. Uh-oh.

I hate to put your mouth on it. I'm gonna go get a towel. Oh my god.

There's one right there. I think there's one right there. I don't know if that's his, like, personal...

Is that a tower bandana? That might be a bandana. That's Oh my God.

That shit just like... Something told me not to open it any further either. Shit.

What's wrong with this thing? Alright. Well...

Jesus. Bro, that should just straight up exploded. Like, what the hell?

My hands are absolutely destroyed. So, yeah. So from what I tasted, it tastes like fruit punch, like the Hawaiian fruit punch.

I feel like I got it all on my beard and stuff like that too. Really sweet from what I could tell. But, again, that was just kinda like the foam and stuff, so don't hold me to that.

As soon as she gets back, I'm a open up the can and actually drink it, you know, in the glass and everything like that like we do. Like, we're civilized people here. So...

Yeah. So should I do next up? Yeah.

Well, fuck it. Let's just do next. Alright.

Oh, she's back. Never mind. We won't do next yet.

Alright. So Corn. Oh, yeah.

Cool. Appreciate it. Alright.

Sticky as hell. It doesn't really matter. Sorry.

But like I was telling the people, it tastes very sweet from the The From little bit that got on your hands. The little bit that I got. Yeah.

The foam and stuff like that. Oh, I was like, it's not coming out. Yeah.

Had to dump a little bit out. Oh, I gotcha. It is 4.5%.

It is electrolyte infused beer. Alright. So it will be a little powdery because of that.

I was just kinda saying is it tastes like the fruit punch. Almost gives borderline... Like, it...

It's... Yeah. It tastes like Gatorade.

It's very dangerous. This is the type of beer I'm gonna drink at the pool all day Mhmm. And not realize I'm drunk.

It's going to be like a 12 ks. I'm going drink 12 of them and just be like, yeah, we good. Then get up and be like, oh shit.

Woah, I'm not moving. What the fuck? Who put a Mickey in my beer?

No, it's good though. It's really surprisingly really, really good. Not surprisingly, but it's really, really...

Yeah, it's... This is really crushable. This is dangerous because it's super light and it's super sweet fruit punch, electrolyte ass, try to Gatorade kind of style drink.

So yeah, I'm all in on this one. Next up, we have Lone Pint Brewery, and it is their... Giddyup.

Giddyup. Yeah. Brie.

Okay. Giddyup. It's a 5%.

It is a blonde slash golden. It is basically just a beer that tastes like beer. Oh, okay.

It's a great addition to barbecues, beach trips, and game days. I'll be the judge of that. It's clean and light bodied.

Oh, excuse me. Shit. Alright.

Let's see how clean and light bodied this really is. Putting that over there and smells like a blonde ale. Is it a blonde ale?

Mhmm. Okay. My nose is getting better.

Only took a few years. Yeah. It's a blonde ale.

It's very crushable, crisp, smooth. But yeah, I can see why they would say this is just a beer's beer. Just a, it's just a bear.

You sure it's a bear? It's a good bear bear. Yeah.

I'm gonna have to give, Turner Point beer of the night. They, they kinda got me fooled with this Gatorade tasting beer thing. And I'm...

The one that exploded. Yeah. The one that exploded and curated the mess.

I'm all in. That is the best... That is the beer flight.

That is the beer of the night. Yeah. For the beer flight.

Yeah. So... And that was beer flight of the night.

And now it's time... Jeez. I really got this shit all in my beard.

Now it's time for hangover clinic. Woo hoo. I don't want you to comment because I know your rude ass is gonna say something.

Alright. I'll turn off my mic. I'm starting to feel old.

See? I'm glad you turned your fucking mic off. I'm glad you turned your fucking mic off.

See? I'm so glad you turned your fucking mic off because that that bust out laugh, I did not need to hear... Them to hear that on the damn screen.

Anyway, the reason I'm feeling old is because for those of you who know, like, grew up watching sports. I grew up watching sports shows. I grew up watching Inside the NBA.

It's one of my favorite shows. It's a great sports show. College Game Day used to be the same, things like that.

Like, sports shows were a staple in the house. And Ernie, Ernie Johnson, is retiring. I think that's his last name.

Ernie Johnson. Yeah. He's retiring from inside the NBA as of next year, next...

After this season. Then also one of my favorite shows... Sports shows, PTI, me, which stands for pardon interruption.

What you guys know, I was a big fan... I'm a big fan of Around the Horn. Grew up on that show.

The the sign that I have is is, the sign that I have, the whiteboard that I have or the board that I have, whatever messages and stuff like that. I got that idea from Woody. I take a lot of that stuff from Woody, the writer that used to be on Around the Horn a lot.

One of my favorite writers that was on Around the Horn. Anyway, Kyle Shaw as well. Shout out to him.

PTI, pardon the interruption, Mike Wilbon just came out and announced that he will be actually stepping away for some time because of, I guess, health and personal reasons. And it just is coming down to, like, man, some of your some of your iconic sports voices, sports personalities, sports shows are gonna start to look a lot different. And I'm starting to feel like I'm old.

And I feel like, you know, we have to come to the realization that this day shall come to all of you, Bri. Asshole. It'll also come to all of us who are fans of the shows.

And I'm I'm sad. I'm not gonna lie. I was sad when I seen Ernie announce it on Inside the NBA.

I was... I... I've never seen Charles Barkley shed a tear or get choked up on TV, and he was choked up talking about Ernie, retiring, which makes me think that he'll probably be right outside that door as well once he...

Once Ernie leaves. And then it's like, damn. Well, who's gonna take over and...

You know, as the the the guy, even though Ernie has said he's gonna do March Madness for the next two years. So we're we're still gonna have that. So I'm excited about that.

But, you know, Will Bond stepping back and not necessarily retiring, but basically saying he's gonna have to take a step back because of the health reasons and things like that is worrisome. You know what I mean? Like, PTI is one of the biggest shows on ESPN that's still up and kicking.

It comes on right before SportsCenter in the evening, you know, like the 05:30, 06:30 window or 04:30 window for us on the Central Standard Time. You know? So it's just like...

It's one of those shows where it's like, fuck, man. You know what I mean? Will Bond and Tony have been, like, for me growing up, something serious.

You know what I mean? Like, they have been... Like, they always bring up good points.

They always... You know, they're old and ornery old. They've been ornery and old men since I've since I've known them or since I've watched them.

So it's like for me to see them stepping aside because of, you know, health shows me that they're getting up there in age, obviously, but that they really were old and ornery the whole time. And it was just like, you know, it's just one of those things where it's like, man, cherish the sports TV and stuff that we have now because when these new fuckers come in like Pat McAfee's and Dan Orlowski's... What a joke.

I don't like Dan Orlowski. Don't know. Pat McAfee is different.

I I liked him coming up when he was, like, he was somebody I was like, Oh, if he can do it, I can do it. I don't have a problem with being outrageous. I can be myself and be on national TV.

And Pat gave me that idea, you know, not that idea, but he gave me that hope even though we weren't... We ain't the same skin color, but, you know, still. My sports takes are better than half of his team.

But anyway, no shade. Yeah. So cherish these moments, man, because, like, we're getting old, man.

And a lot of our a lot of our heroes and icons, Taylor, Swifties, Kelsey, Pat, you know, we gotta start we gotta start cherishing these moments that we have with these people, man, with these... With the entertainment because, like, look at Peyton Manning. I'm fucking doing Buick commercials and insurance commercials.

Who would have thunk? Like, what? Ew.

So, yeah, man. Just... I don't know.

That's all I got today. I don't really know what else to say to that. I'm just really sad about it.

Yeah. You may be getting old, but at least you ran in a a race this weekend. I did run a half marathon Which is down the street from where I work in here.

My god. I'm sorry. I had...

Okay. So two things about that. Right?

First off, I ran a half marathon. I ran third... I ran more than a half marathon, actually.

I really wanna talk to the fucking organizers because everybody in my... Because it was my job. We all...

Like, most of us work out or in shape and things like that, and we all run during lunch, you know, stuff like that. So long story short, we all signed up for the half marathon. We all showed up.

We all ran. My son has practice on Saturday, basketball practice. He has practice in Dallas though.

He lives in Fort Worth. Everybody knows me, knows that. Right?

So I'm supposed to pick him up. Excuse me. Practice is over at twelve.

The race started at eight. I finished a little under... I finished at like two hours and some change.

Because like, yeah, shit was getting... I was... It was getting tops of turf around about nine nine miles.

I was kinda, I don't know what the fuck was going on. My eyes was rolling in the back of my head or something, but long story short, I had to go get him by twelve. We finished around eleven.

Yeah. Everybody finished. Everybody came in about 11:11 thirty.

So I'm like, we took a pictures, you know, good job. We got a medals. Third, I got third in my age group.

And I was like, all right, cool. I gotta go though. Because I gotta go pick up my son.

I didn't even change clothes. Like I picked him up. All I did was change from my sneakers to my slides and let my feet breathe.

Other than that, I was sitting there sweltering in sweat, just disgusted with myself. And then I went home after dropping him off, getting him food, you know, hanging out for a minute. And I went home, which is a long ass drive back.

Like, he lives up by Texas Motor Speedway. So from Dallas to Texas Motor Speedway is about an hour there, then an hour back. By the time I got home, crashed and burned.

Like, I I was like, oh, it's Halloween. I can get up and go do something still. I'm gonna take a quick nap.

You know, I'm gonna take a nap, watch some of these games, blah blah blah blah blah. And that's why, like, I was, like, only highlighting a certain amount of games because, like, I kept falling asleep in between most of them. And I was like, Oh, shit.

Oh, I missed the touchdown. Let me go back. It's like, yeah, nah.

I did. I ended up staying in Saturday and not doing anything Saturday. No, no, no.

And thank God I didn't because Deep Ellum went crazy. And I heard it wasn't the only place that went crazy. It was just the only place that was highlighted.

Downtown, there was a bunch of fights downtown. Just... Somebody...

Another point in making me feel old. Somebody older than me told me a long time ago, you're gonna get to an age where only rookies go out for New Year's and Halloween. So, I didn't really go out for Halloween because I worked that morning.

Right. And then took my niece, trick or treating. Nice.

And then afterwards, I went to a bar that's by my house with one of my other friends that was already there because he's watching college football. Nice. He's the reason why I've been watching more college football because I show up and I'm like driving home.

He's like, hey, I'm here. And I'm like, okay. And then I just watch a game.

And then I go home. But I had to wake up at 4AM the next morning. So I was like, I'm not staying out past eleven.

Eleven. Eleven is funny. Like...

And the only reason why I stayed out past eleven is because at the bar I was at was... Like, everyone was dressed up in costumes. It's required at some bars, you have to dress up in a costume on Halloween.

For sure. Mine specifically. It was really...

Yeah. There was this really drunk guy that would not leave us alone. This this keeps happening to me.

I... I mean, you have a very approachable vibe. Maybe I need to stop going to this bar.

This has happened twice in this Right. Maybe. So this man walks up.

He's talking to my friend and I, and he is belligerent. Like, he... At one point, he looks at us and he's like, y'all aren't gonna call the cops on me.

Right? And we just look at him. We're like, no.

What? Yeah. Or we're like, that's an odd thing to ask.

Yeah. Like, what the fuck? That's an immediate red flag.

Yeah. We we just looked at him, and then he made another comment, and my friend turned and, like, just stared him dead in the eye. The guy was like, oh, I'm just kidding, man.

He walked away. I'm not gonna say the comment that was... That he said.

Like, on here. But my favorite part was that the bar cut him off, and he called the bartender a bitch. And so here comes the manager dressed as the Lorax.

See, that's the problem with Halloween. So, I like, yeah, so see, that's the problem with Halloween. How can you seriously get upset?

Like, I saw a video where a dude... It gets better.... Was arguing and got knocked out by a dude wearing a taco costume.

It's just... Like, you can't... You can't...

You can't walk around the neighborhood after that. Like... So one of the bartenders was dressed up as an alien, the girl.

The guy was dressed up as a police officer, which I found hilarious. So I was like, Oh yeah, he's gonna arrest him. He had fuzzy handcuffs.

Yeah. And then he fuzzy handcuffs. It was all he had.

Said... Oh, my God. And then here comes the manager just as the Lorex passing around pins that look like the trees from the Lorex, like the fuzzy ones.

Wow. And so she tells him that he needs to leave or she's calling the cops, and the cops get called. So I'm like, well, I'm staying, and I'm just watching The Lorax talk to these two cops.

And I was like, if I was this police officer, I would not be able to hold it. Yeah. No.

Facts. And she was just a great Laura. Like, she had it down.

See, and that's why I like... Like I said, you can't take nobody. Like I said, like, I would...

I don't know. I I mean, I've been in a fight on Halloween. It's happened, but it's like, as I'm older now, I'm like, bro, what the fuck?

Like, how the fuck can you even get mad at somebody? Motherfucker, you wear fake fucking white makeup on your face being Dracula. Such a gay ass up.

Get out of my face, fool. You know what I'm saying? Just, I don't know.

Just... It's time for me to leave. Yeah, Yeah, thanks.

But no, so I didn't go out then and then Sunday... I was gonna relax all day Sunday, but my cousin called me Saturday while I was on the couch sleeping. I was like, Yeah.

She was like, Hey, my aunt found out she had stage two breast cancer, So we got together to do a support party, which I think people should do more of that. Like that's, you know what I mean? That's pretty dope.

Like she was... Yeah, it was, it was dope. Like we were all kind of like, when we surprised, it was kind of like a surprise party.

So we all surprised her, but it was so funny because my family, listen, if you ain't got a thick skin, don't even bother. Like they will roast you. Like they roasted her.

I'm like, Bruh, we here for her. It doesn't matter. She's the one who can't stand it.

Right. And it doesn't matter. She can get it too.

But long story short, she walks in the door and she's walking through. She's kind of crying because she wasn't expecting that. And she sees all of us wearing her shirt, the shirt with her initials on it.

And, you know, this isn't her fight, it's our fight. And like, you know, she starts crying. So one of my cousins yells to me back, Somebody hug us so she could walk through all the way.

So one of my cousin walks up, hugs her, and she started crying. Then my other cousin walks up, he's hugging, and we all kinda It's a train of hugging. Yeah.

It's a train of hugging and crying and shit. And it was so funny, but it was so fucking... It was so unbrilliant.

He's like, all right, let's hurry this shit up. Yeah. Like, like, all right, man.

Was just sitting here and feel my my auntie. You gonna feel my auntie crying at the doorway? Like, motherfucker hugger and pull over.

Like, you know? Yeah, it was funny as fuck, man. It was funny as hell, but it was was a dope moment.

After that I was just like, bro, I was like, I'm ready to go home and go to sleep after a while, all that. Then literally watched the cowboy game, watched some of the afternoon game and then drove home, listened to the afternoon... Rest of the afternoon game, got home, watched the afternoon endings, and watched watched...

Was it Seattle? No. Seattle was last night.

Who was the... Who was... Oh, Washington and Philly.

Don't look at me. Yeah. Washington and Philly was Sunday night.

I got... Fun. Fell asleep.

That game was absolutely... I don't know. Washington felt like they were trying to lose that game.

But anyway, yeah. So it was an eventful weekend. What can I say?

I'm sorry I didn't come to the bar. I will come to the bar next time I get... Thanks.

Yeah. That close again, you know, but it probably won't ever happen again. So...

But, yeah. This is Beer 30 Sports O'Clock. And, we we run halves.

We run... We run... We're getting ready to run a marathon next.

Yay. This is a Stolen Water Media production.
