This is beer, 30 sports, o'clock, no mess.
And this episode's beer is Isolation Ale by Odell Brewing Company, and it's very fitting
although it's proudly Colorado, which I don't want to talk about Colorado right now,
but here in Colorado, summer's barely over before I start searching for those first
fall flakes and for the return of Isolation Ale, a sweet caramel multi ale, I see, okay,
balanced by a subtle crisp hop finish, alright Odell, bottom up, okay, definitely multi,
hold on a mouth there, not strong, I'll say that, it's not, it feels, it tastes crushable
I guess, but I don't know what the percentage is, based out of Fort Collins, 6%, okay, that
makes sense, not, you know, yeah, it's alright, I'm not a huge multi guy myself, but those
that like, mults, those that don't like a long, a strong, hoppy taste may like this a lot
better than, than the IPAs or typical, you know, stuff like that, so yeah, Isolation Ale,
I feel like I'm alone on a hill, looking out the window, crying tears of pain, I mean just
life, life is life and right now, Parsons is gone for the season, Watson just returned
gone for who knows how long, we lost to the Bronco, okay, alright, it's just very depressing,
okay, alright, it was a very depressing Sunday, anyway, news you can booze to, I would first
like to say, the playoffs, playoffs are close to starting in the NFL, we are officially
at like, what is this week 15, end of week 15, yeah, yeah, so I want to do some way to early
predictions for the rest of the playoffs, no, I'm not going to be biased for all you fucking
haters out there, they'll be talking crazy because you know I'm a packer fan, so you think
I think that, you know, the packers are going to win it all, no, especially now with the
injuries going on right now, okay, especially now with Keisha Nixon's up and down play,
one week he's a superhero, the next week he's not, it's a fucking joke, anyway, so what
I'm going to do here, oh yeah, Bree is here by the way, say hello to the people, Bree.
What I'm going to do here is we're going to talk about the AMC and the NFC playoff picture
as it sits right now and we're going to predict all the way to the Super Bowl, all the way
to the big game in San Fran at Candlestick Stadium or whatever the fuck that stadium's called
as a Gillette, I don't know, I think it's Candlestick or Gillette, I thought Gillette was
New England, I don't know, yeah, stadiums, this is sure, yeah, sure, my bad. So anyway, so
let's go ahead, let's get to, let's get to which one to do first, the AMC or the NFC?
Of course you would, your chiefs aren't in it. Yeah, my home's is hurt, ACL, another
sad fucking story, that's, listen, I'm okay, I'm okay with some of the story of the
chiefs not making it, I'm not okay with the how abysmal it looks for them right now.
Someone on Twitter the other day was like, people kept making jokes throughout their run
Super bowls that they sacrificed the devil or some shit, like some of that and he's like and now he's
asking for his money. He wants his money, he wants his e-read, you listen, you know, he always
collects, so he hasn't collected on Jerry yet though, at any rate. No, yeah, we're not gonna touch
that one. Alright, so right now as it sits, we're gonna go seven and two, six and three, five and
four. Obviously the first, the number one spot gets a by week, so first up, we have, as it sits
right now, again, as it sits right now, seven and two is seven, number seven is Houston going
into New England. Who do you have, Bri? I think the Texans take it. What? I think, I think they're
actually like pretty good. They're like not the best, but that defense is fucking scary. Yeah,
I don't know if you've ever seen them play or not, you know, no offense. I know you watch sometimes
at the bar. I lived in Houston for like four years. I'm talking about this year. Oh, this year.
I was like, I have watched them before. I even shot it in our G stadium. I know that name.
Oh, there you go. Okay. Yeah. No, facts. Alright, so here's where I think it's, it's gonna be
cruise. First off, I don't know this game was probably the hardest of the ones to pick for me,
because I went back and forth and back and forth. And after seeing what Buffalo did to New England,
after New England losing a streak that they have not had a loss in, in a long like 12 years,
whenever they are leading, my 17 points or more at home, they are like 89 or 90%. They don't,
they don't lose very often. They lost two of all people, Josh Allen and the Buffalo bills,
who there are rivals for the AFC East. Go bills. Yeah, like it bills my people. I picked it,
by the way, on the clubhouse. I picked them. I said it's a pick them game. I got the bills.
I think Josh Allen is going to just not let himself get beat in New England after losing in Buffalo.
But hey, you know what I'm saying? I just be winning area now and don't worry about it.
But anyway, I do feel as if that the Patriots have the,
Vrable is a good coach. I got to give him credit where credit is due when I didn't like the high.
I didn't like how the hire went down. But I will say that Vrable has turned on to be a better coach
than I foresaw, foresaw, foreseen, foresaw, foresaw. And that defense, I think, is the biggest
question mark. Their offense with Drake May and, and Diggs and Henderson, who was like a reincarnation.
Somebody said a reincarnation of Sequan Barkley. Whoa, let's relax. But
say Trayvon Henderson has turned into their number one back who had a hell of a fucking game last
this Sunday. He just continues to do good. But the one key thing that I said about the Buffalo
game that I say I've been saying for the past couple of weeks, that offensive line for New England
is battered and bruised injuries after injuries. Both tackles on both sides are heard.
Now one of the guards, I think, is they saying it's having a, which around this time of year,
everybody's hurt, right? Hell, the packers are hurt. Everybody's hurt. But the difference is
that Houston defense keeps them in games. And I really, really hate it because I hate the
Houston Texan fans about as much as I hate to fill it out for Eagle fans. At least the Eagles
fans have won Super Bowl, so I mean, you know, but I got to give it in a close game in New England.
I got to give the edge to New England. I'm going to go to New England. I'm gonna go. Yeah,
I'm gonna go to England. I just, my heart of heart says Houston, but I don't trust CJ Stroud. And
in the playoffs, it's about quarterback play and Drake May is in the discussion this year for MVP.
CJ Stroud is not. CJ Stroud is just now getting back to decent like mid. So I got, I got a New England
breeze got Houston as it sits right now. Next up, six and three bills at Jacksonville.
Bills. Bills.
We ain't even letting it late. See, no, my other team is in. Bills. Bills. Mafia. Listen, um,
Josh Allen is playing out of the out of his out of his mind out of this world out of this universe.
He is trying to get MVP again, which he could possibly get it. He's up there. If he's not,
this is also I think the year for him to get it done. Because if you look at this year, no Patrick
Mahomes, no Lamar Jackson. And all you have to do is get past Drake May, who you've already beat.
Trevor Lawrence, who listen, Jacksonville is a great story. Ever since they've gotten Jacoby
Myers over there, they have looked great. But Buffalo is getting healthy. Ed Oliver should be back
in the next couple of weeks. They get to play in warmish weather, which they they're better in.
Jacksonville, it don't really, I mean, it don't get nasty out there. It rains, but it don't get
nasty out there. So it's not really a home field advantage to me, in my opinion, for Jacksonville.
What I will say, though, is that it's going to really depend on the coaching. I think the coaches
both haven't, you know, I think that Buffalo's coach has been there. He's seen it. He's done it.
They have Super Bowl on their mind. So I'm going to go with Buffalo as well. I'm going to go
with Buffalo as well. I got to give it to Buffalo. Yeah, Bill's mafia. Let's go Buffalo. Now,
I do think that I do think that it's going to be closer than a lot of people are talking. You know,
if the playoff picture is they think it's going to be a blowout and things like that. I don't think so.
But Buffalo squeaks this one out in typical fashion. Best second half team. Jacksonville comes out
early and then Buffalo just wins it all at the at the end. Next up, four and five, the eliminate
tours, AKA the chargers at the Steelers. Now,
unpopular opinion.
And Rodgers in the cold and being old as he is and his hands have been fucked up half the season.
I don't like his chances. Right now they're playing Miami in the Steeler Nation in in a Pittsburgh.
And it is the lowest scoring game we're probably going to see all year. Now,
with that being said, the charges are scary. Chargers also have offensive line issues.
But TJ watt is out. TJ watt just had an injury of getting stabbed essentially. Yes,
with a needle and like a long or something like that. I have no idea. I know idea. What he isn't
been. He hasn't been injured. He hasn't been on the injury list. Like, so why is he getting stabbed
with or why is he getting poked and prodded with needles? A dry needle at that is what they said.
What they said. A dry needle, which is even crazier. So I don't know. I don't know. But
crazy stat is without TJ watt, the Steelers like one in 11 or one in 10.
If TJ watt is not back by the time the playoffs start, I got the charges.
I think it's going to be the Chargers. Why? I was not expecting that. I was going to throw
me off. I think they've just been having a relatively good season. They have. They have a pretty
good defense. Their offensive line is kind of bad. But Herbert is young can take all the hits.
No TJ watt. I also. It really depends to me. Just like them as a team. Their social media has
really made them seem like a good team. They're social media just makes them seem like a good
team. They're social media presence has gone up so much this past year. I think all the NFL
teams are starting to do this now. Thank God. Yeah. Well, they have to because the world is revolving
around social media. But there's their players are funny. Yeah. Oh, you clearly haven't seen
the Packers. Cowboys too. Cowboys have some pretty funny fucking players. The
Draftpick Booker. He's funny and shit. The running back. Not Sanders, but the other one.

but over the summer when they were doing like camp and stuff. Right. They were very heavy. Yeah,

bears. As much as I would love to agree with you, you're out of your fucking mind. We own the
bears. There's no way we're losing to them three times because we're going to play. I mean,
there's no way we're going to lose to them twice in one season. We're going to play them next week
at the bears. And then we're going to, if this is the truth, we're going to stay and we're
going to play them again at their house. No, we're going to, no, we're going to beat the brakes
off them. Next week. That's true. Six first three. San Francisco 49ers at the Philadelphia Eagles.
I'm actually excited about this one because the civil fact is like, how is it that San
Fran one who injuries galore have been crazy. And they are literally, literally in the playoffs
after everybody, including their own fan base thought was a just a shitty year. Absolute shitty
year. Yuka's gone. They've already avoided his contract. How you avoid a contract is crazy,
which we probably need to look into that. Fred Warner injured, Brock Purdy in and out in and out
in and out. Then Christian McAfee, the only thing that they have settling are like normal
out of that backfield. And they still figure out a way to win. Great coach. Not going to lie.
Shannon hands a good coach. So you got versus the drama queen. Previous champions Eagles who are
up and down. And again, this may change, obviously, with some of the games, you know, they lose out,
which are highly doubt, you know, things like that. Who you got, Bre? Eagles are Niners.
This is a game I could really care less about. I know. It's a good both lose. I'd be happy with that.
Okay. But I'll go with the Eagles. Good pick. But I do think San Francisco has something to prove
mainly because they want to play the Super Bowl at their own home stadium. Yeah. So they will
probably come out, but like guns blazing. But I think the Eagles are going to be like, sit down.
Yeah. I think the Eagles outlast them as well. I think that the Niners. Go ahead. Go ahead. No,
it's something for the next round. Oh, oh, oh. I think the I think the Eagles outlast the Niners.
I think that the Niners are their their injuries will eventually catch up like they, you know, you
can't win a Super Bowl without Fred Warner. It's just not heard of. And then some of their other
defensive players that are out. It's just it's the Eagles are going to take advantage that the Eagles
limping into the playoffs. I think are going to be, yeah, the that's it's going to be crazy.
It's going to be weird. But yeah, I do agree that the Eagles will win this, win that game.
Next up. Five versus four. Seattle versus Tampa Bay. All right. Tampa Bay. Excuse me.
Another one I could care less about. I'm actually really interested in this game. The reason is
one, they played already this season. Two Baker Mayfield and also Sam Darnold came from they went
the same exact direction are not same age. They both were Carolina Panthers at one point and were
thrown away and told they weren't going to be good and end up being great at other places.
This is this is the comeback bowl for me is the comeback game of the year comeback bowl game
whatever. I just don't trust Baker not to throw an exception. I got Seattle.
I have no opinion on it. So I will go with what you think.
All right. I know about either of these teams. I mean close to nothing. Okay. All right. That's
fair. I know that the book in years that's that right Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay books. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I know that they set last year. They made the playoffs last year. I didn't even know.
That's how much I'm paying attention to that. Ah well they're out of here anyway. So we'll stay
on the NFC side because I don't want to confuse thanks too much more than I already did with
jumping from NFC to NFC. Yeah. Here we are. Here we are. Uh Seattle versus the Rams. Oh. Rams.
Honestly, this is a division opponent. They play each other already twice this year.
Pukinakua is injured. Yeah. Devante Adams is also injured. Matt Stafford is starting to look
human again. Give me the Seahawks. Give me the Seahawks to win an LA and make shit interesting
in NFC. Now Eagles versus the Packers or the Bears. Who you got?
Hmm. See, this is where it gets interesting now. See, the Bears are number two.
Well, they haven't beaten anybody and that's why they that's why they're number two. They had
the work. They had one of the worst records last year and they got a they got a shitty record.
Did you see the game? You know, they know how cold it was. Yeah. The, the, the do open this, uh,
Ken or a bottle of soda and it turned to slush immediately. Yeah. Same with beer.

Listen, as a Packers fan, it's going to be really hard for me to say this, but I just think
that the injuries I think that the Eagles are healthy. I haven't seen very many injuries for them.
I do think we can beat them, but I think our injuries right now will have us losing this game.
So it's going to end up being Seattle versus Philly in the NFC championship.
I know that sounds insane to some of y'all, but I like the, I like the battle of the birds for the bowl.
Uh-oh. I don't, I don't care. I don't care about this. And last but not least, the Eagles versus
the Seahawks or yeah, um, before we get to that, let's go to the next round of the AFC. Yeah,
let's go to the AFC so you can get your AFC rocks off. All right, we got the Chargers
versus the Broncos at the Broncos. Who you got? Oh, if it's at the Broncos, I feel like the Broncos are
do their best. I hate to agree especially right now because the Broncos make me sick.
11 game. I really want the Chargers to win because I like them. Yeah. I also would want them to win
because I think Buffalo could beat them. Valid. Uh, I also have the Broncos winning that
next game. I do think that playing in Denver is going to be a big thing because, you know,
one plan that they, the Chargers play up there twice or the Chargers play them twice a year.
It's always a battle. I do think though that that defense versus that offensive line.
It, you know, it's with all the injuries that the Chargers have is going to catch up. And I think
that's the big, that's the big thing that's part of this year is that are that the part of the end
of the year. It's always the injuries that end up fucking, fucking up everything. So Denver moves on
to the next round. Buffalo versus Houston or New England, whichever you say, both
and Buffalo versus New England. Buffalo already beat them. But New England beat them as well.

I hate to agree, but here we are a grain. It's going to be the Eagles and the bills in the Super Bowl.

Is it going to be Buffalo or Broncos? Or is it going to be Eagles? It's going to be in San Francisco.
I mean, it's not going to be hot, but it's not going to be cold either. Yeah, it's the Super Bowl
usually is not that type of advantage. Buffalo travels well, Broncos travel well, Eagles fans travel
well. Like Eagles fans. Do you mean like for all of them? They're fans? They're doing all their
fan bases travel. Well, I'm sorry. Yeah, all their fans. Yeah, no, they all travel well.
They all they listen, if they get in the Super Bowl, any of those fan bases, they are going to
travel really well. Like they are going to be in their full force trying to make it a home game.
So that's besides it. Yeah, who you got? Think if it's the bills versus the Eagles,
I think the bills win. I think if it's the Eagles versus the Broncos, I think the Eagles win.
Wow. You don't have Josh choking in the Super Bowl? I'm choking in the Broncos,
but not the Super Bowl against Broncos because he'd be like, this is it. Once we're done with this,
we're like in the, and then he's going to choke because he's going to get too much in his head
of being like, I have to make sure we make it as a team. All of this is writing on me,
this, that and the other. But if he's there, he's like, we've already made it. We've made it. Yeah,
we've made it. I don't got to worry about it. I got this. God have fun. Yeah. And so I don't,
I think he'll win. If he's there, I think it's just him getting. Yeah. Yeah. That's going to be
the problem. All right. Well, the Broncos, the Eagles are going to win. I think the opposite.
I think if the bills get there, they're going to lose to the Eagles and unfortunately let them
fucking repeat. And if the Broncos get there, I think that Sean Payton and that defense
put it to Jalen Hertz and make him look like he looked two weeks ago throwing four interceptions
and then a fumble because that defense is that good. Now, as much as I hate to say it,
either way, that means that the bills do not win the Super Bowl. And I'll be sad for them.
But they made it. They made it. That's all it. We can hope for I guess. I think he will be okay
if they just get. Yeah. They just get there. Yeah. I think so too. But I think it's their year to
get there. I think it's their year to get there. I do think I do think they lose though.
Watch every single one of our predictions be wrong. I mean, it's football that happens all the time.
I mean, shit. Like come on, be for real. Like I don't I don't think I don't think really like
honestly, there's a possibility. Honestly, I can be we can be wrong about Philly and San Francisco.
I can be wrong about that because I think San Francisco is a well coached team. Like they are
really good coached team, but they also play a division that, you know, they all know each other
and they all have like their own kryptonites, if you will. But the Niners, the Niners is losing as much
as they did on that roster and still being in the fight is crazy to me. So I think if the Eagles
lose, they're going to lose within the first round. They're not going to lose. If they lose,
they're going to lose the first round. And then it goes from there. It's either the Packers,
vs. Niners or the Bears, vs. Niners. And either way, I just foresee, yeah, whoever comes out of that
is going to be the champion, the NFC champion, between Philly and San Francisco. So we're good.

What does that mean? So like long islands, they usually taste sweet, but there's a lot of liquor in it.
