So right when baseball ends, that's when the end of the Baseball goes in the playoffs. Yeah. That's what was saying. But Yeah. They're The regular season. You got about a three week overlap where all four major sports are going at the same time. But the regular season of, MLB is done before the regular season That's at the end of September, first week in October, depending on how the calendar falls. What? We have to go. We have to finish out the AFC this week. Oh, yeah. With our AFC preview extravaganza. Since, around the horn's gone, I can use that now. Oh, it is no longer trademarked? Nope. Alright. Well, we've gone through everything, but this this was my crowning achievement for my own self worth here. Got a lot of different things going on, food, drinks, me talking smack on pretty much everybody in vision. But we're gonna see what will happens for the champ there. But because the AFC West is up now, I get to say Denver in the conference championships. You welcome anybody who listened. So that's where we're starting right now. But there is a crazy stat that I cannot wrap my mind around. Bo Nix was only in his second year and led the NFL in passes, throwing over 600 attempts. Now you think in the modern day that's not that much, but it actually is. But the other part is they had 13 wins. Or excuse me. They had at least 13 wins. There's only one other player who has ever had the leading passes and 13 wins. They're in the hall of fame. Oh, if you drop it to 12 wins, yeah, they're in the hall of fame. If you drop it to 11, you add Kirk Cousins. That's where we get the line drawn. But it was his second year. Sean Payton swore up and down. He could trust Bo Nix, and he did, and it worked. Even though somehow they trailed in 15 out of 17 games. That's insane. No team who has ever trailed in 15 games has ever won more than 10. They won, I believe was it 13 or 14 games? We're not worried about the past, but we're using it to tell about the future because that rushing attack was bad. They had to bring back JK one leg, aka JK Dobbins. RJ Harvey was great the second half when Dobbins was out, but the one I really wanna keep an eye on is Jonah Coleman at a Washington. Young guy, lot of speed, great hands. He might become the new Sprolls or something for Sean Payton. That's just a little nugget to tuck away for the end of your fantasy drafts. But the other thing was trailing in those games. Denver had thirteen one score games and one eleven. That's unheard of. Good teams are a little bit better than fifty fifty, so we're probably gonna see some regression. But they were also twenty ninth in penalty expected point average. So they were actually pretty bad there. So you might get a little bit of a level out, but they're really healthy going into this year. They had some banged up people on the, offensive line. They got to the conference championship, and Boenix was out, if you remember, after having some great play leading up to it and carrying them in the playoffs. So you would think, oh, yeah. They got carried by their defense, and they only lost one top defender of their league or of their snap leading players on defense. They lost one of their starting 11, and they only lost, I wanna say, four out of their starting of their top 20. So that defense is back. And it's the unsexiest divots you've ever seen because you look and you're just like, oh, yeah. That's those guys. But the Denver just continues to do it. Now with all of that information, Sharp Analytics, who is who we're using for all of our over unders predictions and games one has them at nine and a half. I really don't wanna turn into Don and Denver as my binky the way he uses Jacksonville, but I have them going over at 11 wins. Which is kind of interesting since their strength of schedule isn't as high as you'd expect for somebody who had the number one overall seed. Kinda helps when you play Vegas. But, Don, how many wins do you think the Denver Broncos get in 2026, 27? I'd still, with all affection, call them the donkeys. Me living in Denver. Mhmm. So last year, like you said, fourteen and three, but a lot of close one score games. I still think that the they're still gonna be a great team. I think in the end, they're gonna win the division. Mhmm. But I think just that closeness and luck. I know you said, you know, they're behind 15 games. In 15 games, they were trailing at halftime. Oh, at halftime. I thought Oh, no. No. Excuse me. They were trailing. No. There were there was a there was 11 games they were trailing at halftime and still wound up winning. Oh, oh, no. Okay. Because I thought okay. Somebody, know, for instance, your three the first team gets a field goal, but then you Mhmm. Slaughter them the rest of the thing. Yes. You were trailing, but but even on that, I'm gonna give them I agree close to you. I think the the what just runs out a little bit, but still they're gonna be tough. I'm gonna say 10 wins. Okay. Okay. Rob, how do you feel? Going by my normal cadence of when we do this show that I give you stats on the schedule because as the great Woody Page used to say, look at the schedule. The buy is in week 10. Half of this division is not as strong as some other divisions. Week one, they are on Monday night football at Arrowhead. Mhmm. As fake Jerry used to say, give me a louse. They've got Sunday night football at home against the Rams. They've got Thursday night football at home against the seahawks. They're playing Black Friday in the night game against Don's beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. They're the third of the triple header, and they've got Christmas Day hosting Buffalo. I'm glad they got the buy in week 10 because it's gonna get real in that home stretch. Oh, yeah. They do not win the division. They come in second in the division barely at eight wins. Oh. Barely second with eight wins. Being daring. That's I'll give it to you. I'll give it to you, Rob. That is a really interesting one. And I feel like based on what you said about give me a loss, that means that you have high hopes for Kansas City, who's our next stop. But I might change your mind. Got it. You added a word, but you're close. It's how you know. Oh, it sounded like you said how did you know? No. Okay. But this roster for Kansas City, they they are gonna have their probably easiest schedule they've had with Mahomes because they were terrible. But on top of that, everybody's like, oh, of course, they were terrible. Mahomes got hurt. Spoiler alert. He got hurt in week 15. Okay. So he had most of the season already under his belt, but they still had massive, massive roster turnover, and the ones that didn't turn over are getting older. It happens to all of us, but the biggest thing for me was Mahomes because he's been the reliable. A man I looked after as a child at one point. But I wanna read you guys a little bit of something from before Mahomes got hurt. Okay? Are you ready? Bring it. Ready. Bring it. Just in games played, career worst completion rate, career worst accuracy, career worst sack per pressure rate, career worst sack and interception rate, career worst TD rate, Career worst third down conversion rate. You seeing a pattern yet? Career worst pass rate outside the numbers. Usually arm strength is what he has, and it wasn't working. Career worst completion rate over expected. He usually leads the league in that, and he was terrible. And then he had career high tight window throw rate, which means he was making bad choices on top of it. I think we might be seeing the beginning of the end. I could be wrong because they did go out and get Kenneth Walker who absolutely backpacked Seattle to a world championship last year. And he's the best running back that Andy Reid has had since, I wanna say, well, since the Chiefs had Jamal Charles. And Andy Reid's still a good coach. He caught a lot of flack early on in his career for not being able to manage the clock. But on top of all of that, Kansas City only won one one score game all last year. That's unheard of even by a coin flip. So there's a lot working against them, but because it is such a great organization that tends to build from within, make smart decisions, and Mahomes can overcome a lot of mistakes. There's a lot of people expecting much, and Sharp has them at 10 and a half wins for the year. I have them third in the division, losing a tiebreaker at nine wins. Don, how many wins do you see for Kansas City this year? I think, since he's a newlywed, his mind will still be on the on the honeymoon. So I they've won six last year. Don, you might wanna clarify who you mean. Kelsey. Thank you. But everybody knows I'm talking. That you said you said 10. Correct, Alex? The number was set at 10 and a half. I said they win nine. Okay. Last year was six. Mhmm. I'm gonna put between ten and six. I'm gonna put eight this year. Okay. Rob, this season for the Chiefs will be a 30 for 30. Oh, do you think it's a last dance? This is the last ride. All signs. If Kelsey retires, what else does Mahomes have to accomplish? That's a valid question. Strong rumors are this is Kelsey's last season. Oh, I very much agree with that. And if it is I won't doubt it. If it is, respect. Going out as a top guy. I came to the league outside of being on a reality show on where he dated a girl in every state. I watched that show. Nobody knew who Travis Kelce was. Now he is a first ballot hall of famer. And if you debate me, you're wrong. And you know I don't say that often. No. Not at all. One of the greatest tight ends we have seen at least in my lifetime. I'm not saying the best because there's other guys on that Mount Rushmore. I'm gonna say this right now. Normally, I start with the buy, but I'm gonna bury that just one bullet point. Kansas City does not lose a game until the buy. Mhmm. They win four straight out of the gate. Then they go to the buy. Their prime time is gonna be must see TV this year. They've got two Monday night games. One at home versus Denver, which we talked about a minute ago. The other one hosting New England. Sunday night football, they've got two of those. Hosting the colts who just signed their running back for two more years, and then they're at Seattle on Sunday night football. Are you kidding me? That's where I have their first loss. They've they've got Thanksgiving night. So this division has two games Thanksgiving weekend. So they've got Thanksgiving night at Buffalo, which is also gonna be a barn burner. And then they've got Thursday night football at the Rams. Kansas City doesn't have the toughest schedule in the league, but they might have the most entertaining schedule in the league this year. They win the division with 11 wins. Okay. Well, we all have a pretty decent number. Like, Don's the only one that has them below 500, but even then, they're right on the cusp. So why don't we talk about the other side in Las Vegas? Which wait. Oh, oh, poor Vegas. Poor Raiders. Wait. I I thought we would I thought Vegas would come last in this list. LAS versus LOS. Fair enough. Yeah. No. Alphabetical. So Las Vegas, my home away from home. I will say this about Las Vegas. Have you seen how they did the season tickets this season? And I don't know if it's been the same as seasons past. Yes. And I wanna say this is not the first time they've done it that way. I I I feel like they've done a little bit different, but the the poker set is awesome. Not only was it a poker set, it come Don, I don't know if you've seen this, but it comes in, like, a little briefcase. And when you open a briefcase, in the top of the briefcase is like their year program, like their their season. The schedule, like, they the special display. Yeah. In the bottom of the briefcase in foam, you've got two stacks of chips. Branded chips. Yes. Two decks of cards. Branded cards. In the This is for Las Vegas. Yes. They're good. In between, it look they look it looks like where the where the tickets actually are. Mhmm. They look like markers. Well, they they look like gold bars. Yeah. That are like because in Vegas, if you get to a certain denomination, they're markers. They're not chips. Yeah. This what the first thing I thought of was like, that's cool, but, Alex, that's the one that's cooler. That's also fair. In my personal opinion. But inside the gold bars is physical tickets that pretty much nobody's gonna use because they're just gonna use the app on their phone. But there's also the the they are full weight chips. These are not the Walmart brand. They are actually clay glass chips. And they have full, like, hockey puck dealer buttons, big blind buttons, small blind, whatever you would need for a poker set. It's I have never had anything bad to say about the Raiders organization. They've made bad decisions, but I I can't knock on them for taking care of their people. Just win, baby. Well, it ain't gonna be this year because all of their easiest games by strength of schedule are on the road on top of them being not in great timing around other beatdowns that they're gonna receive. But I actually like what the raiders have done. I can't I can't remember the last time I really said that because I like what the raiders have done, but it's not something that's a quick fix. Even though one of their best moves was hiring Clint Kubiak of the Kubiak family, a man who just took a team I thought was going to be trash last year and led their offense to the Super Bowl o eight and won it. Yeah. And he it's an entirely new staff. There are so many new players, but not Max Crosby, ironically. So it's going to be a build for them. I hope Fernando Mendoza does better than I expect him to. I like that kid a lot, but I think it's going to be tough sledding for him. The other thing they had was making smart under the radar signings. They signed a lot of guys notably like Nakobe Dean, who are those guys that just produce. They're not the all stars that you see on cereal boxes, but they're pro bowlers because all they do is produce. One of the big ones you have there is Tyler, Tyler Lindenbaum, who is arguably one of the best centers in the NFL right now, who's gonna help Genti have a better season because he's gonna be able to call those projections as well as helping Mendoza or a less mobile cousins if they choose to go that route. Either way, Lindenbaum is going to make the entire line better just based on experience and knowledge. But that doesn't mean wins because the line that we have set based on analytics is five and a half wins, and I still have them going under at four. Don? Last year, they won they won three. I say this is their year. They're gonna double that. This is their year. They're going to double three. They're gonna double their win total. How many teams could say that? Let's do it right. That's fair. That is very fair. Rob, I I need our first one, though. I need our first one of the season. In true Vegas fashion, if you have a job that makes you work regular hours on Sundays, you will never get to see the Raiders play. Yeah. I'm sorry. You will never get to see the Raiders play this year because they have zero primetime games. Nada. Nothing. Zilch. Nothing. That's that actually surprises me because they always feel like one of those bad teams that gets like a Monday night game because that stadium is so awesome. And weren't they the first team to have a Monday night uniform? Were they brought out the silver? I wanna say That might be true. The the silver on silver. I think you might be right. With the first team that had a specific Monday night, and this is like They they inspired the color rush, I think. Mhmm. Never wanna talk about that first color rush game again. What? You mean the color blind game? Oh god. The the the other bad part about Vegas is they don't have a buy till week 13. Yeah. Oh. It's gonna be December. Mhmm. Or they get to buy. I'm almost to Don, but I'm gonna sit just a little bit underneath. Vegas wins five games this year. Interesting. So we we have it surrounded four, five, and six. Interestingly enough, Don's the only one over the number. But that leaves us with my other binky. Los Angeles superchargers. Oh, the chargers. The chargers, are gonna it's really gonna depend on health because they have two really good bookend tackles in Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, who were both out hurt last year. So I mentioned Lindenbaum, or Lindenbaum for the Raiders. The chargers did something just as significant by getting Tyler Biyadish in the center. Now not up to Lindenbaum's level, but Biyadish is a badass. He can do all of the same things, help out with the line everywhere you go. Because last year, I and Bradley Boseman, I am sure he's a lovely man, but he was the worst center on the planet, and it's not close. So Beattish is gonna be a huge improvement. It's gonna help with the running game, which was atrocious. Whatever it was did not work. Anytime they got near the red zone and they could not run the ball, which is amazing to say for a Harbaugh team. But they also and we love touching on these one score games. They were six and two last season. So they're a little bit above what you would expect. I think that's gonna come down because the defense isn't as impressive to me. There it's an aging unit. Khalil Mack is, you know, 400 years old, but still a monster. So the big thing for me on why I actually am going under on the chargers for the first time in as long as I can remember, they have twenty four fewer days of rest than the teams they play. That's ins that's like an insane number. We talked about it with San Francisco a couple years ago when I said it's gonna hurt them. That was a thirties number, but it was only about a week more because of travel. And it may take a year for this offense to really learn McDaniel's motion offense, which is arguably gonna be the most creative Harbaugh has ever had on that side of the ball. But there's so much motion. I'm expecting a lot of penalties as well. So it's interesting because talking about a Harbaugh and thinking great coaching both of those sons, the father, they've always been a football family. Did you know that Harbaugh has never been better than twenty ninth in fourth down decision in his life? It whenever fourth down comes up, it's as if he makes the wrong decision on purpose. It's been so bad. Now much like the chiefs, the statistics show 10 and a half wins as the mark for the chargers. I mentioned I'm going slightly under. I have them winning the tiebreaker against the Chiefs to come in second in the division at nine wins. Don? I think they I think they tie Denver, with my wins prediction, but I think that Denver will get the tiebreaker and win the division. It's gonna be tough. That's still gonna be a tough yeah. That's gonna be a tough, tough, tough, tough division because you're gonna have I'm I'm still gonna say it. Denver's gonna be tough. KC's gonna be tough, and, they're gonna be tough. LA. But, so I think there there will be a tie, but I think that Denver will get the tiebreaker and won the division. Okay. Rob, I have a quick question for you before I ask about the wins. Yes, sir. Are you concerned that Justin Herbert is not paying enough attention to football now that he is engaged? I don't think that the air bears gonna have that problem. Have you seen the video? But still. It was it was during off time. I wanna clarify, but people are loving to run with it on the Internet right now. So how many wins do you see for Los Angeles? Before I get there, I wanna I wanna tell you that's something I just saw on the on the studio TV as we are watching the game on the local NBC affiliate. Mhmm. They showed a commercial for Sunday ticket. Uh-oh. I did the math. Oh. Now it's split into eight payments. Mhmm. If you add up all eight of those payments based on the monthly rate, do you know what Sunday ticket's gonna run you this season? Something that'll make me throw up in my mouth. You wanna take a guess? The last time I remember looking at it, they were trying to charge, like, $7.50. I'm gonna guess it's about, like, $9.40. Don. You said $9.40, $940 for the season? The last time I paid attention, they were charging $750 for the season. You know what? I'm gonna just go a little bit over. Let's make it an even grand. You're both way too high. Oh, so they learned. If I did the math right because it's on YouTube TV. So Oh, yeah. Don't have the the the DIRECTV problem. That's also fair. It's still almost $400. That's a yeah. That's too much. Especially when it's like, I want it just for red zone. Oh, wait. I can get that other places. Yep. Yep. And for me, like, the first time that when my wife and I got DIRECTV, this was, you know, when we got our first place together in 2000. I paid a $175 for the Sunday ticket. The good old days. Yep. Got to watch all my dolphin games, all my play dolphins. Now as it pertains to the Los Angeles superchargers, they've got the bye in week seven. So always a good thing to be right in the middle of the season. Rest up. Get your head right for the home stretch. Monday night football at Baltimore. That's a tough deal. Yeah. Sunday night football hosting the patriots who are kind of on a mission this year. Maybe. Thursday night football versus the 49ers. When I said Denver is in second by a game, I wasn't talking out of first. The chargers finished third in the division at seven wins. Interesting. If you'd like the point on that, every other team, at least one of us has the over. We're all under on the chargers, which means, if you believe us, bet the under. And the rings were lowered from the ceiling to in front of them at their tables. That's funny. So they got the ring box out of a bigger box. And when they opened the ring box, there was a mechanism inside the box that actually rotated the ring around. Wow. One of the coaches who has their last Super Bowl ring compared the size between the two, and it ain't even close. Oh, of course not. There is also a button on the bottom of the ring that pops up the rails that look like the stadium on I have seen that part. So I'm like, alright. Let's go. I'm fired And then it was just an episode. Yeah. Gotta be honest. Didn't really start strong. It doesn't surprise me. For me, there's not as much stakes when you have the defending Super Bowl champions in preseason. Yeah. It's it's where's the build? Where's the struggle? Give me that scrappy team that's trying to get back in the thing like they've done, oh, I don't know, every year before now. But Wasn't wasn't Seattle, like, the fourth choice or something? I don't even know. But you know what? I'll give it time. I'm still gonna watch it because Oh, yeah. It's still Hard Knocks. Tampa Bay now has by the way, bought when I said Boston's getting hot, they're on a seven game heater right now. Tampa Bay's on a three game streak, which puts them four and a half up in the division. In the AL Central, the royals are 12 back. That's why, you know, she's It's gonna get worse. She's gonna do something, bro. They are eight games back on Detroit. Tigers are tied with Minnesota. They are four games out of the division lead right now. They're right. Except for the fact that they also just sold their best player, so I don't think they have high hopes. But Phil, still, you're saying there's a chance? That's a game back at Cleveland, and, Guardians are three and a half back on SWIST. Yeah. In the AL West, The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Orange County, California, American, North America, Earth, Milky Way, Universe, Multiverse. They are 14 and a half games back. They're a game back on homeless vagabonds. Homeless Vagabonds currently nine and a half back on Seattle. What happens if they actually announce that the team's name is gonna be the Vagabonds? If that happens, I wanna check. I don't care if Metallica tries to to do copyright infringement. I wanna check. Right now, Seattle's a game and a half back on Texas. Texas now a game and a half back on Houston, Houston, Houston. This race is getting tight, and the rangers did not play well against Houston last week. No. They did not. So in the National League West, the Colorado Rockies, 24 back right now. They're three back of San Francisco. Padres are 11 gay I'm sorry. The Giants are 11 games back on the Padres. San Diego, two games back on Arizona. Arizona's now eight back on the Dodgers, but the Dodgers have dropped six in a row, and they're two and eight in their last 10. By the way, YDC last week, Troy Aigman was on. Mhmm. I didn't know that he was a partial baseball owner for a minute, and he talks about it. Nice. And then so it could be put, actually correct this week instead of last week. They did premiere Thursday night, the new season of accused guilty or innocence on A and E. So I did enjoy the season premiere of that new episode tonight. That's one of my favorite TV shows because it's a real court case, and they followed the defendant through the whole thing after the after the arrest for the crime, and it goes all the way through the end of the trial. And so it shows the whole thing of defense, everything. So it's kind of an interesting story if you like something like that. So Back in the nineties on ABC called murder one. Yeah. So, yep, that's that's the, for for TV talk for me. I did get through episode four of the betrayal of Shohei Ohtani called the book. Season episode five dropped yesterday. I I'm still I'm trying to get caught up on all my podcast. But I would be fascinated, Alex, for you to listen to that episode specifically. Okay. They are moving their October event to Atlanta. It was 2300 Arena in Philly due to, and I quote, breach of its agreement with Major League Wrestling. From the research I have done, this is a money thing. Wouldn't surprise me. Untracted from the 2300 Arena, 2300 Arena did not pay. So, and for reality of wrestling, Ryan Danielson's heel again. That lasted about two weeks. So, TNA, Bear Bronson is dealing with a back injury. He seems to keep having these injuries as well, but he he's been putting everything on the line when he's been doing shows. So that catches up. And you know what? When they first brought him into the system, I was like, I don't know. But he's really he's he's coming along nicely. He's developing nicely. Well, I I'm wondering if his ultimate endgame there will no longer be as Bear Bronson, but more of a call it a suit style system member. Jody Threat and Mara Sade have both left TNA. Mara Sade actually her contract was up earlier, but she still showed up to the Philly taping so she could finish out her story, and that really impressed the TNA management. Yeah. And I like her. That's cool. But they have also signed Gabby Forza. She was part of Knockouts television tournament. She's she has a gnome bit. Yeah. She's a really good wrestler, though. Very talented.
