And we are on the air or what amounts to the air here in the world of the podcast. It is not the air per se, but nevertheless, we are live out there and ready for you to consume us by the miracle of the podcast. It is another episode of three wide at Scout. Now Scout is located in the Statler Hotel. And, yes, we did learn that it is, in fact, a hotel. I was under the impression that Scout and the Statler in general had converted into residences, which is what happens to most of these large structures in Downtown Dallas regardless of whether they they were once offices, hotels, whatever. These days, they wind up as residences. Now is that a wise business decision? Well, these days, I don't know. But I can tell you this. I spent about ten years as a resident of downtown, and those were good years. I had a lot of fun and a great place, and I really look back fondly on those years. But you know what? That's not what we're here to talk about today because this is three wide. And at three wide, we talk about the game of football. Do you like the game of football? Well, if you do, then we may have a little something for you. Now you may be saying, okay. Who is this we? We see you, but what is this we that you're talking about? Well, it just so happens that I have a couple of my cohorts with me. On my left, you will find Grego. We have a little history together. Hello? Football time. Yes. Can't wait for it. And on my right, one of our partners here at Stolen Water. Yeah. It is the greatness of Ziggy. Hi, everybody. How are you? I'm good. I'm good. I'm it's a good football week. It's a good football week. What makes a good football week for you? Packers winning, the bears losing, Detroit losing. Yeah. I mean, it's a pretty good In other words, all of the Norris division losing? Exactly. Okay. Exactly. And the Giants got embarrassed last night. That was pretty funny. So What makes a good football weekend for you, Grego? TCU winning which, you know, I think they played OD Wyatt or Trinity, some high school team. They won after being embarrassed in Ireland. That always makes for a good weekend. That Texas wins. I like it when Texas wins now that they're in the southeast conference. Oh, are you? Now when they were in the southwest conference, I didn't want them to win, but I want them to win now. And of course, I like it when the cowboys win. So it was a it was a good weekend for me. I hate it when Texas wins no matter where they are. Me too. Just boo boo. I hate that too. Well, things have changed, and and now they're the marquee. They represent the state of Texas in in college football. They're our representative in the I know. The best conference, and, you know, I've I've gotta support that. Now when they play TCU for game Why do you have to support that? I don't have to support I mean, when they support because I'm a Texan. Well, so am I. Well, I know, but you you some people support I don't pull for any college team against a Texas team. It don't I don't care who it is. Any? None. So when they play None. So when they play A and M, what's your A and M is my third favorite team in this well, fourth favorite. I like tech after Texas and TCU. You like tech? Yes. I love tech. Are you kidding me? Over A and M? Since when? I've I've never known you TC. I've never known you to be a tech guy. I've always been known a I've to I've always been a secret tech fan because I I had a lot of friends that went out there. Okay. Well, that that makes sense. You got some alumni friends. That makes sense. But a and m's in the end. Yeah. That's where Billy Joe Toliver went. You know, it's you know, they bought, you know, they I've always kinda felt sorry for them out there on the prairie and everything. It is. Man. But I love a and m. I I like it when a and m I I hate it that they got beat by Kentucky. Hey. Kentucky's a real Yeah. They are. They're they're a better team than everybody thought they were. They gave Alabama And they might be getting better. Yeah. Exactly. Now they got the confidence on top of this. So But, no, I I I never pull against a Texas team. Do you? And do I? Yeah. All the time. Pull against Texas? I I pull against Texas, and the rest of them, I don't give a damn about. Okay. You oh, no. That's not true. You like the Aggies. No. No. I don't. You've quit them? Yeah. I've quit them. I've quit them. Oh, now now sure. I had a familial dalliance dalliance with them, but let's just say I no longer have that. You don't like SMU? Hey. Well Yeah. Maybe. Making a comeback. Top 25. You gotta Maybe. Yeah. They laid an egg Saturday. I mean Yeah. No. They got they got spanked. They got they got bent over and spanked in the second in the ACC, man. I think everybody sleeps on, the ACC, which I don't understand why, but it's really tough. Basically, they have one good team, Miami. No. Louisville Louisville is is gonna make some noise, and NC State, if they wouldn't have blown it this weekend. NC State should have to disband their their program. They should absolutely just fire. Why? Because you don't make a mistake like that. You don't you don't give away a win like that. Alright. So You just don't give you don't do that. Let me paint the scene. NC State dominated the entire game versus Vanderbilt. And Vandy still was in the game. And through the game losing pick, all the quarterback had to do was go into the end zone. No. He no. He what they would were trying to do was give up two points. Yeah. You're going in back end zone. Yeah. Take a safety. Yeah. You take a safety. Down to a knee. And so he was back there hot dogging around trying to get cute. And somebody slapped the ball out of it, and they recovered it for a touchdown. That's the That's what happened. That's the only way If that is what happened, then they deserve to lose. Not only do they deserve to lose that game, they deserve to lose every other game on their schedule because that is just stupid. It's just dumb. Absolutely. This was it probably one of the stupidest plays I think I've ever seen in my life. But did you see the quarterback? He was hot dogging around with the ball. He's running around and He's like, hey. We got this one. We just beat Vanderbilt. It's like, no. You know, like, that's an accomplishment. They beat Vanderbilt. But again, ACC versus SEC, and that they're trying to ACC is trying to make a name for themselves in with the SEC and fighting the SEC. So I think that's part of it, but you just outsmarted yourself. Like, just go down on a knee and get it over with. There one second, you pull the ball back and tackle. That's it. Like, what you thinking? I am so lost on college football these days. Man. I don't know who's where. I don't know who's good. I don't know who's not. I don't know why they're good. I don't don't know why they're not. Somewhere along the line, I have just I just I don't know. I pulled down blinders on college football, and now Yeah. Where am I? I don't know. They make for fun Saturdays. I wish that Miami would play on Saturdays because Miami is the best team in the ACC, but they're starting to have a play. Usually, like, Thursday or Friday night, but this because they're playing like Wake Forest who has a good defense as well. Some other high school teams out of North Carolina and stuff like that. So they're just not Well, this is their preseason. Right. Yeah. They don't they don't have an actual preseason. The first three games are are the preseason. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, as soon as they get college football worked out and they have the top 50 teams and they're the only ones competing, it's gonna be a pretty good league. And they, you know, get a little bit of a handle on on paying and the NIL situation, which they will. They're gonna get it under control. It's just gonna be well, that's just gonna take several years. I mean, because because there's there's more money to be made for everybody if they unite. There's more money. And sooner or later, you know, more smart people are gonna prevail, and they're gonna understand that. They don't understand it now, Ron, because they're still operating under the old bowl theory, and you we know those bowl people. Yeah. You don't you don't you don't move their attitude around. Well, they're slowly getting moved out, and when they do, you're gonna have a different college football. Yeah. But it's still gonna be pretty good because you're gonna be able to get eighteen and nineteen year old studs Mhmm. Pay them money, and for two or three years, you're gonna have a really fun league. Yeah. And I think I think the reason it's so out of control now is because I said this before on my show is that they have been making billions of dollars for so long and not paying the players legally or above board or above the table, if you will, that now the players have the the legal right to get as much money as they can. And I'm gonna just I'm gonna be honest. Eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty one, I'm going for the biggest bag I can because it's so in fact, I might not get this opportunity. We tell these players that they're not going to get in the NFL all the time. So while they're in college, enjoy and all this other stuff. Well, now you gotta add, well, enjoy and get your money. Nobody knows where this is going. No, I mean, because because you're not you're not waiting till somebody turns 18 and give them money. Oh no. These cats are getting money when they're 16 years old. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, there there are players that are getting money at sixteen seventeen years old. Yeah, yeah. They're at high school. You betcha. Oh, yeah. They're they're they're regularly getting it. Go go check. I was out the other day at a Southlake Carroll game. Oh, yeah. Check the check the parking lot out. Check the luxury cars. So these cat. I mean, they Carroll has several. Yeah. I mean, they've always bought good people. People out there can and always have. Not to this extent. Bought good cars for their kids. Not to this extent. Nah. Nah. Nah. First off. I mean, there are several. They have. Man, I had to build my first car, so I don't know nothing about that. And I'm rich people. Out there. I understand that. Big means. But some of these cars are are in the means of people that make millions of dollars already because, like, you can't get a Lamborghini Porsche truck kind of thing like what he's talking about unless you unless you have the means to pay for it and and leasing and things that like I'm just I'm just saying that the money that right now you're dumping an enormous amount of money on teenagers. Yeah. 16¢. And you used to not do that. Yeah. They used to. They would get some money under the table, but not like they're getting now. I mean, back then, they would get tens of thousands of dollars, which at the time was a lot. They're getting millions now. Jeremiah Smith, he turned down $10,000,000. Runs, he turned down $10,000,000 this year to play for Miami. Yeah. All he had to do was leave Ohio State. $10,000,000. And his for one year. And his coach that was originally there went to FAU guess those directional. UCF, excuse me. He went to UCF. Central Florida. Central Florida. Yep. And they asked him that I've I've heard a couple of people ask him like, you not did you not try to get Ryan Smith? And I guess Ohio State kinda has like these clauses in their stuff and he's just not he's not leaving, which I don't blame him on him. Ohio State. No, I'm sure they matched it. Right. I'm sure I'm sure he went in there and said, hey, look, guys. Yeah. I mean I I don't wanna leave this place, but this is $10,000,000. I don't even think they had to necessarily match it more so than they had to just say, Yeah. Do you wanna play on Saturday in prime time against Texas, against Indiana who just won the championship, against, you know, Michigan He's going to a team that just played for the national championship. But Miami You don't get any higher than that. He's gonna get drafted anyway. Yeah. There's just You know? But I mean, I I just I I don't think I just don't think they would've they would've I don't think they could've. I'm just saying that the that that that nobody knows what's going on with college. Anybody that thinks they do, they're crazy because did anybody think we would get to this point five years ago? No. So what we're gonna be in five more years Yeah. You know, but but the first thing they've gotta do is get this antitrust exemption because every time some something doesn't go a players way, you just get a federal judge to block it and you get your way. We're not. We're They've gotta stop that. See, you can't do that in the NFL because you've got a collectively bargained agreement. That's because they consider it professional. They don't consider college professional. Well, they're gonna have to start considering it now. Consider it professional. You we just we the the diehard college fans probably like Mike that have just straight up given up on college sports, it's probably because you don't have the same love for it. Like, lot of people feel like it's it's too much business going on and this, that, and third, but it's like, no, this business has always been going on. Now, the players are starting to get evened out with as because nobody bats an eye when a coach leaves a program the following year. I mean, we we stopped Lane Kiffin when he went from Ole Miss to LSU. People reporters were literally waiting in the swamps with cameras waiting for him to to to say something at a fence at an airport. Like, come on, man. Like so my thing is is you're right. Nobody knows, but payer players need to be paid and and I think they should be able to transfer. Well, once again, it's the old bowl people. Yeah. And they knew that they needed to pay these players forever, but they just went as long as they could. Yeah. And finally, Ed O'Bannon beat them in court. Well, aren't they? And and instead of just just going halfway and and fixing things Yeah. It's just gone completely overboard. Yeah. Because they're getting paid now, and they can transfer anytime they want. Right? So here's here's okay. So here's the thing that I will say. I will say that, one, again, it needs to be, like you said, collectively bargained and it needs to come to an agreement in writing everything. Like, this is a semi professional professional league or whatever the case may be when it comes to football. The problem is is that you have to intertwine the other sports too. And, like No. You don't either. And and they're about to learn football? They're oh, they're about to learn the hard way of that. Basketball is gonna be tough to match Yeah. Ron, when's the last time you heard somebody in college in this term, oh, he's academically ineligible? Not in a while. You don't hear that anymore. And and why don't you? Just mean, all of a sudden, they decided Yeah. That players don't have to go to school. Mhmm. And so and so basically, they've created a department of football. Yeah. And they're running it like that. You see, you know, Stanford started it when they hired, you know, Andrew Luck as their CEO of football. Who'd ever heard of that in college football? They've been doing that. You had athletic director and SID, and that's it. Well, that they they've been doing their commissioner of our our CEOs and No. They just started that. Stanford was the first one to do. No. They have conference commissioners. No. No. No. Oh. They've been conference commissioners for years. Well, they But that's the bold people. But Deshaun, like Deshaun Jackson, he went back to to his school to do not only just coaching, but, like, general manager. The sports writer that was with ESPN that used to do what Shams does now, I forget his name, the guy with the glasses. Oh my god. He used to break all the basketball news. Wojoe? Woj. Yes. Yeah. Oh, Woj. Yeah. He actually went to he he was one of the first. He was actually the Yeah. I think he was. Yeah. He was the first. The first to go and be a general manager for his college. Well, it was Andrew Luck that that that created the whole thing. So again And and so that that see, that that creates a whole new cottage industry, and the way they're doing that. You know what? The next thing that they need to do? If you're a team and and I'd love for TCU to do this. Just sell your program. Sell it. Sell your sell TCU football. Mhmm. Go out and find a title sponsor. I don't know who it would be. You know, go find you a title sponsor and let them own your franchise. They do everything. They fund it. They staff it. They do all the hiring and firing, and the only thing they get is to use TCU and get to be in the tournament. They get to field a team to play other college teams, and you let them fund it. Yeah. And and and instead of the the and and instead of just getting players in here and give them a bunch of money, well, maybe you get them in there and teach them how to be a coach if they can't be a pro. Maybe you teach them, you know, how to not get scammed by agents or how to balance a checkbook. Yeah. Yeah. No. And just have a department of football and sell it. Yep. Do they even care about that stuff? Who? They don't. They The players. They don't want to see and that's the thing too. What they might if because not everybody that gets NIL money is going to the next level. Oh, yeah. But but they've been they've been telling them about agents. They've been telling them about, you know, guys who are out there trying to get over on them for years. But if you have It's going on. But if you It's nothing new. But if you Ronj, if you have ex players and you know this, and you have and you employ ex players that work for you, and they go in there and they say, hey. Look, man. You think this deal is good, and you think this jeweler is good to you? He's not. And I'll tell you why. Because here's how I got scammed. And you create a whole thing. That's where it's headed. They they need to they need to one, I think the biggest thing too is that, like, the transfers, I do think they need to solidify, like, a a limit to that. You could you could stop that with your department football. You know how? Yeah. When you sign a player, you overpay him, but you overpay him for the right that they ain't going anywhere. You got him for four years. You that's And so you've got continuity. I would I would say But you have to overpay them. Also, as as well as they have to figure out a way. Because in the NFL, in, most of the NBA, you cannot there's no rhyme or reason or when it becomes when you become an agent, there is no certificate that you have to have. And I think that's part of the reason part of the reason that you have such craziness going on with college sports because everybody and their mama is an agent for their nephew, for their cousin, for their little brother, what and it's like, well, wait. Have you ever negotiated a contract? No? Then how how are you gonna negotiate a transfer? How are gonna negotiate the NIL when you That's one of those things that everybody thinks they can do. Do. Yeah. And it's like you can't. There's there's lawyers that go to school for this, like and you think that, oh, because you know how to run a Madden team on PlayStation that you should be able to do that, or you're a good fantasy football owner that all of a sudden you know how to contracts and everything should work, and it there should be some form of a certificate just like there is to be a plumber, just like there is to be to even sell new cars, you have to get Don't they have that, though? I mean, these agents have to be certified. No. You do not. Nope. They do, Ziggy. Agents in in college sports They do not. They have to be certified. They gotta have something. I'm telling you, they gotta I don't know what it is, but they They do not. And especially when especially in the lower like, we're not we're just talking division one, the big schools. We're not even talking division two and all the rest of the small because this stuff happens all the time lower, but we don't bat an eye because it's not big big money. Because not all of them are, but I would say 80% are attorneys that are agents. Hear me out. I would say 80%. I will I will prove your I will prove that wrong with one two agents. First off, did you know Jayden Daniels' mother is his agent? I did know that. Okay. She does not have a certification. Well, okay. That's what that that that's one. Kawhi Leonard, uncle, who is his agent, did not have any Okay. You can okay. You can you can go you can go cherry pick all you can go cherry pick all them. I'm just saying, like, I I can I mean, the yeah? There there there are exceptions to everything. But my point is you don't need a certification to be an agent. You don't need anything right now. And they should have that in place, especially when it comes to football, NCAA, things like that, because those cases, we caught and only only uncle Dennis actually technically Okay. What are you gonna do? Give them a test? Yes. Okay. And and so and and you're gonna base everything just on a test? The the the they're a good agent, and and just because they can pass the test, you gotta either pass it or fail it. Yeah. It's just like driving. So if you I guarantee No. No. I just wanna know what your parameters are that if a test is okay? Yeah. Because I mean, me, it'd be the same thing as like a first aid or, or, you know, you have to be able to pass. Yeah. So technically, you you should have to go through a class, like a day or two class, get your certification once you pass. But like anything else, like a lawyer or a plumber or anything else, just because you can you're good at passing tests, That doesn't mean you're good at at at HSG. It's true. It's gonna take experience. Yes. But I'm saying But even if you're not good at it, you pass the test. That means you can do it. You're certified. I mean, there's there's there I've never met a lawyer, although I know that the show what was it? Suits. Where the guy said he never went to law school, but he could memorize the law book and all that bullshit. Yeah. So I've never seen a lawyer I heard that. But I've never seen a lawyer that hasn't gone to law school and passed the bar. Never. So my thing is Oh, they don't wanna let you practice if you don't do that, right? Right, but you No, can still defend no, in Texas, if you can pass the bar, you're an attorney. You're an attorney. Yeah, yeah. So, no, no, yeah. So In California, you can't. California, you gotta have law school. See what I'm saying? So that that's where it gets a little sticky. Right? It's like federally, we should be able to do that. But I mean, state the state is different. So my thing is is like, if you're able to pass a one all test, go through that class, you should be able to be an agent. If you cannot pass that test or go through that class of a day or two, whatever, then you should not be able to be an agent. I don't care how I don't care who you are. See, I just I don't trust process like that anymore. I just don't trust it. Why? Because it's all Don't you trust it? Because it's all rigged. Okay. Okay. When you're dealing with agents, are you dealing with savory people? Are dealing with seedy people? Oh. On on on the most part, Brian. Are you? Yeah. For for the most part. You are. Right? I I don't know. I haven't dealt with that many though. I I haven't dealt with that many in my life, so I don't know. Now I guess that I would I be inclined to trust one just because he comes up to me and says, I'm an agent. I wanna take care of you. No. I would not. Right. I mean but why wouldn't you trust him? You just wouldn't trust him because he's a stranger then or she's a stranger. Yeah. Probably just on a I'd probably be running on vibes. You know? See, I mean, that that means he could he he maybe could win me over Right. But likely is not. I'd I'd say, no. I mean, I I could do I I could do this myself. And then when I find out I can't That's when you I go out and find a good one. But see, that's my thing is, like, is is is there's no there's no structure to it right now, and it's the Wild Oh, man. Is it ever? And it's and and the reason it's the Wild Wild West is because, again, like you said with the Bulls, they made so much money and gave these players x boxes and gear and stuff instead of paying them. See, that's the myth. Actually, they didn't make a lot of money, but they left a lot of money on the table because they they they didn't wanna get because they had have had a structure where they controlled everything, and they were all super, super, super wealthy. They were getting money, but they weren't interested in really growing the sport because they had theirs. They had control of it. They were making all the money. They were calling all the shots. They like things the way they were. But then TV started getting involved in more and more money, and and they demanded you know, I mean I mean, think about not having a playoff system. I mean, for think how many years that it was voted on. Yeah. I mean, and how absurd that was. Yeah. But why? It was voted on? Yeah. Was voted on. Yeah. It was voted on. I mean I mean, before they had the playoffs, you know, it was the AP and the UPI. UPI. Yeah. You know, sometimes you'd have sometimes you'd have a a split national championship. I'm sorry. I thought you were talking about the idea of having a No. Yeah. But but and and they fought that forever. Said, well, you can't do it because of the bowls. And every myth that they threw out there has been disproven. Now the bowl And and so now they're discovering exactly how much money can be made, and it is it it it is staggering. But that's what I'm saying. I with it with it being so staggering with ESPN wanting to basically own all the sports and with Fox Sports and all the all these sports TV companies, YouTube streaming don't even get started on Paramount, Peacock, and and FX. Like, everybody wants a piece of it because we all watch it. We That's because you're weaning out all the old bowl people Exactly. And all the tech people are moving in. It's it's a whole Yeah. It's it's a whole new landscape now. It's not like it used to be. Alright. Let me ask you this then. And the game is evolving. Let me ask you this. Yeah. Yeah. Is it better this way? We don't know. I think so. As of right now, I think so. I mean, did you watch college football on Saturday mornings? I did not. I Okay. I did all day long. Glued to the TV. And watched some amazing games. Look. I went to Seattle, and I couldn't stop. I was sitting there walking through their fair with my phone, like But see, I'm to people. I'm the wrong barometer because Really? Because next to baseball, it's college football for me. And then it's baseball, college football, and then a long way down here NFL. So those are yes. I mean, I'm a I've always been a college football nut. Why? I don't know. I I just like it. I I I thought it was cool that people that were relatively close to my age Right. Were playing football on TV Understood. For a universe. I it it was the mystique of it. It it was great. You didn't get much of it. There was a mystery. You'd hear about this team that was really good, USC, but you never got to see them on TV. I gotcha. Okay. You know, you you you heard about Alabama, how good they were, but they were never on TV here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And and it it it would it was always a just a cool mystique. And then going to college football games, I mean Oh, yeah. It's nothing like a college football game. It's just sensational. Yeah. But, I mean, I love NFL football too. Nothing will ever beat baseball for me. Speaking of that, runs, base playoffs start tonight. Yes. We're in the playoffs. You know that, don't you? No worries. We're in the playoffs. We're in the playoffs. Season is not over yet. The playoffs start tonight. The playoffs start tonight. Anyway, nothing will ever eclipse baseball for me, but college football is right on it. And I I I just can't give it up. I I can't say, well, that's it. I I hate it because you still have good players. Yeah. You still have those iconic uniforms. Yes. And you still have TV. And you still have stadiums the stadiums always still packed and amazing. And it and it also I don't know for you, but for me, it brings back, like, it makes you feel young again. Like, people lose their minds at college stadiums and, like, it's just their their traditions, the the the, you, and, like, it just they stand up when the first kickoff, like, it it's just there is no feeling like it. Even NFL hasn't figured out a way to master that yet. And they never will because that because you will never have a passion toward a NFL franchise like an alumni has toward a school. Yeah. Exactly. You just won't have that. So that's that's why I think college football is not I think it's I think it's great right now. I think it's absolutely great. I do think that, yes. It's just different. It's very different right now, and it's not like it used to be, but Right. You still have extremely talented young football players. Yeah. Yeah. And, you know, I I I really like watching it. I mean, they I mean, they do some things that I just shake my head. I'm like Man. My gosh. Yeah. But then you think about it too, like, there's just so many teams in that that possibility of that team upsetting one of the big dogs, like Kentucky versus Texas A and M. Like Oh, well, Western Kentucky beat Michigan. Yeah. Don't care what you said. They beat Michigan. It's definitely Wait. But see, you get that in the NFL too. You're you're you're always gonna get that. And you got and Ziggy, I'm telling you, sooner or later, like like my school, a, you know, small private church school, we're not gonna be invited. We're not gonna be we're not gonna be in the dance. And and and my people need to understand that. I don't I don't know. I don't think so. We're not gonna be a top 50 team. We're not. Because we don't can't generate the revenue like everybody else can. Yeah. Can't generate that. TCU. Small private you know, small be right. You may be right about that. Small private church schools can't compete. Well, it's a private SMU, Baylor, don't give me Oh, SMU will definitely compete. No. They won't. Yeah. S no. They won't. Okay. See, TZU will be dealt out of it before SMU will. Yeah. Okay. But sooner or later, all these rich people that are having to fund this stuff Yeah. They need return on their investment. And and there is nothing there is not a worse investment than handing an 18 year old future quarterback $5,000,000. You don't get a return on that investment. Well And that's as risky as return on investment every Saturday when they win. When they win. Yeah. What if they don't? And and you How many of them don't? Well, that that that that's a bad investment by you. What what do you think Michigan's thinking with Underwood right now? You think that was a good $10,000,000 spent? Garbage. Mean, you give it to them when they're 18. Know, sometimes sometimes it takes them by the age of 22 to figure out they can't play. Yeah. Yeah. No. But it's a whole new climate. It's a whole new landscape. Yeah. You know, it it it'll even out when when the bowl people finally are completely gone. And they they get some people in here, and and they figure out that if everybody gets together Yeah. Then this thing can make a lot of people a lot of money. For sure. A lot of people a lot of money. And I think I think, though, the biggest the the way it But right now, they're just fighting each other. Right. As I say, the way it's gonna turn is that they've gotta realize well, one, NCAA needs to be dismantled. The NCAA It has been. They're still making rules and regulations. Just Why follow them? They just well, I mean Sorry about that. You know you know Texas Tech? They Yeah. Look look what happened when they said, no. You can't play this guy. They're like, well, we're gonna play him. And federal judge said, well, you gotta let them play him. Yeah. And then and then it's same thing. Decision to to not do it. Yeah. Because nobody would nobody would nobody would play them. Let's try it. Like, everybody threat same thing that happened with LSU Wouldn't happen. And SEC. Shit. The same way that the one thing that they also they all say is the integrity of the game. And when you admit to gambling on your teams or prior teams and having insider information, you basically screwed yourself out of ever being trusted again. I agree. And that's why he will never play college. He'll play NFL maybe, but I can guarantee you he's not gonna play. Although the NFL about now, I'm I'm sorry, Sorsby. Texas Tex sore well, used to be Texas Tex quarterback, Sorsby. Oh, okay. Yeah. Sorsby, he'll never NFL stepped up and said, you know, and and nobody drafted him. He's supplemental. They they didn't have a supplemental. They they said straight up and down, we are not doing a supplemental draft. We don't want any part of this. Pulled out of it. Otherwise, they were gonna have it, and nobody was gonna take it. He pulled no. I I thought they canceled it before he pulled, but regardless of the fact NFL stepped up and said, we don't want this dirtbag in here right now. Big twelve also came out and complained. All the all the teams and the commissioner and everybody was telling the tech, hey. Look. Teams are complaining that they're not gonna play you. And once that happened, same thing that happened with SEC and LSU trying to get the NFL players coming back to college and the tight end that they tried to, you know, get from the Browns that wasn't gonna make the team and we'll pay you to come back. And LSU was gonna play him until SEC's commissioners and everybody got together and was like, hey, bro. What are y'all doing? Like, you're about to start a riot. We do not want this type of attention for the SEC. Stand down. And exactly what happened, they stood down. I mean, it just is one of those things where, like, they're not going to allow the integrity of the game to get messed up for college. NFL, we still got some gambling stories that we gotta work out, but it's it's professional, so we don't you know, a lot of people think it's rigged anyway. So Well, how long is it gonna be, though? Now that they're all getting paid, now that they've essentially turned it into professional football Semi pro. Yep. How it's not semi pro. It's it's professional. For sure. It is just straight up, no difference between that and the NFL professional. The only the only difference is they don't call it the NFL. And sooner and sooner or later, all that stuff is gonna wind up in the game. I I don't think it'll end up in the game as when you say end up in the game, what do you mean? It's it's gonna become a part of it just like it is in the NFL. Here's what they've gotta avoid. They have to avoid the stigma of becoming minor league football. They can't it it can never be looked down upon as a I don't think they have to worry about that because no no I think they do. I don't think they do because no minor league anything draws 60 or 70,000 people. That is not minor league. No. I'm I'm I'm telling them as long as they're doing that, then that is not minor league. They're gonna have to the product up. Yeah. And and by keeping the product up, they're gonna have to feed it a lot of money Yep. Which I think they're gonna do. Mhmm. I I think all this will happen. Yeah. I I do think they need to treat that. Because there's because you just you have no idea the amount of money. Oh, no. No. No. I yes. I And and networks Yeah. They throw These leagues can go to these networks and say, well, you know, you wanna carry our championship? Well, here's the price. Here's the here's here's the tag. Networks aren't gonna like it, but they're gonna write the check. The check. Yep. And they will do it eagerly. Yes. Oh, yeah. Because then they get to do it You think CBS isn't rethinking giving up the SEC? Oh, yeah. For sure. And and and you saw where ESPN jumped on it. Yeah. And now ESPN controls the SEC Yeah. And the Big Ten. And the Big Ten. Yeah. Which ESPN really wants to be in. If not, they wanna own. They basically wanna run all of the leagues. That's why they're in bed with the NBA like they are, college football like they are. They're working on the NFL, and essentially, they're gonna get baseball, and they're gonna get hockey next. And it's just gonna be worldwide leader of sports. They are literally trying to monopolize that entire thing to just be Well, they've had all that before. No. I mean They've had baseball. They've had football. I mean, like, as in Oh, they got baseball now? They got football. They got the NBA. Well, they don't have football all the way because you still have the the Fox and CBS games. But see here still fighting with prime and Netflix for those games. Here's the thing. You you got smart people like Jerry Jones that that revolutionized, you know, football on TV in the NFL, you know, when when he allowed Fox into the mix. You know, before then, it was a rubber stamp deal because you had the old people running the NFL. Yeah. But you had Jerry come in, and he says, well, you know, let's figure out what these Fox people want. Well, what Fox was offering was three times more than CBS. Yeah. And so they signed with them, and it was the best deal ever. Well, what what they're they're about to enter a phase now where you don't need networks. You can go directly from your product to a device. That's where we're headed. And that's what that's where the model's headed. It looks I don't it is. I just don't think that I don't like it, but it looks that way. I I don't Why do you need a network to make all these, you know, idiotic decisions? Well When you can just say, if you want our product, here's our product. We're gonna give it to you with our announcers, our technology, our equipment, everything. All you gotta do is flip on a switch. Cost a lot of money to run a network. Or you think they're worried about money now? Yes. They're not no. They're not worried about money because they're printing it. Yeah. I mean but it costs a lot of money to run a network. I think they like not having any of the responsibility of worrying about staffing, about worrying about all that because the simple fact is that they used to of dollars They used to say that about Jerry Jones when when all of when he revolutionized promotions. Because used to, you couldn't promote your own team. And Jerry came in, he goes, oh, I'm promoting my own team. And they go, well, no. You can't. And he goes, well, uh-oh, yeah. I'm I'm gonna. Remember when he drew all those Nike swatches in Texas Stadium? Oh, yeah. And they couldn't do anything about it. And pretty soon, the other owners are going, god almighty, boy. He's making a lot of money. And then they all started getting on it, and pretty soon, you had money coming out like fire hoses. Yeah. For sure. I I I'm not saying it can't be done. I mean, Jerry is the reason that the franchise is worth billions of dollars. Jerry Jones. It isn't a form of being done with the the their local networks and things like that, but I just don't again, they don't it cost a lot of money to run a network, and you're talking about you're talking about just for a season. Like, a season is seventeen weeks. True. It takes a lot of money, but if you control it all and you fund it all, guess what? Then you make all the money. You don't have to split it. You also make all the you also make all the bills. You also have to pay all the bills. And don't worry about that because you're gonna I'm okay. That's why that's why Jerry It's different world, man. That's why Jerry is the genius that he is. Doesn't it doesn't work like it used to be. I mean, no. For your right, it doesn't. The system doesn't work. I don't think I what I do think is that eventually, we're going to have to stream every game, and that's gonna suck. Yes. That is gonna suck. Because I I hate streaming it on Prime. Like it I like it like it is now. See, I I think they're gonna get all that straightened out when they when they figure out how to make the most money. They haven't figured out how to you know, modernize it yet. Mon monetize. Monetize. I like monetize. I like monetize. I had to have at least one. Monetize. I like that, though. But they haven't figured out how to do it. And when they do Yeah. And they can make the most money, then they'll kinda be at the place where college football is right now to where they're like, my gosh. We got money coming from here and there But even and dropping from the ceiling But even colleges aren't Even the doing what you're talking about. They would, again, rather and they make money like, colleges make money hand over fist with sports, with tuition, with room and board, with food, with with all the stuff that they can books, with all those things that they charge and can charge, they make money on. I I like, I have plenty of little cousins now that are in college and football and things like and I'm telling you, the amount of money that Intuitions make, they they don't wanna add extra bills to it because when you start talking, oh Well, you're talking about new arguments here. I mean, No. No. We'll stick to the NFL. So let's say let's say Jerry figures out a way to do his own stream and he's all his games only come directly to to his network. Right? I don't think he no. He won't do that. The league will. He's not gonna do he will too. No. Well But that's I'm saying. I don't think the NFL will. But but see, not they don't wanna do that because the NFL figured out long ago that if they're they're all for one and they stick together and they have all these years, that's how Green Bay survived. That's how Cleveland survived and Buffalo. I don't know. Green Bay is not good thing. As long as they stick together, I think there's gonna Jerry realizes that they got strength in numbers there. For sure. Alright. That was then, though. This is now. We're headed into a new age, and I think that there's gonna be some kind of alteration in it where we're gonna have to decide which teams we want to watch and sign up for that. I I I can see but, again, I can see that. Yes. I I definitely can see it going to, like, a streaming. You can only stream your team subscription kind of thing. But then they'd have to worry about housing the network itself. It doesn't matter. The NFL will buy expensive those cameras are. Do you think they care? How much how much manning that don't takes? Understand. Mike, that is a lot of bills. I know. You're you're bringing up money. Seventeen weeks? You're bringing up money, but they generate They do. They do. But what I'm saying the reason the money they make. The reason they generate that much money is because they have that much overhead. They have that much overhead because the simple fact is the network step in and say, hey. We'll take care of showing your team. Just let us have it on this channel, and let us have it on Sunday night instead of Sunday afternoon. Alright, man. And then it's I'm telling you. That's how it's gonna be. They're they're gonna see that that is an old and outdated way of of doing this. They're it's it's outdated as far as with cable TV. You're right. But I don't think they're gonna Now hold on. Streaming by themselves. The NFL I think they're gonna NFL has always been very, very good about taking care of their local fans. For sure. That's all I'm No matter what, that that goes back to blockouts where they protected the team For sure. To to to now that if it's on a streaming service on a Thursday They still got it. We can still watch it for can still watch the Cowboys for free. But that's bet that's all gonna go by the waist. I don't think so. Wouldn't surprise you. I don't think so. I I don't because you you you would lose too many fans. You would lose too many fans. If you take if fans are complaining now, we're being on prime. About it is easy. Prime, everybody has You may lose too many fans, but you're gonna be charging the ones you keep a whole lot more. Okay. What's the most expensive streaming network out there right now? Oh, I have no idea. I I I don't know. I don't either. I don't Let me I don't have Hulu, Disney, and ESPN. I have no have get that bundle, it's like it's no. It's like well, you can't I have zero streaming services. It's like $30. What? It's $30. Right? A month? A month. So imagine, right, imagine if you will, seventeen weeks, your team says, hey. NFL comes down with a thing saying because there is NFL Network. You are both correct. There's an NFL Network. But NFL network does not house their own games for the the teams because the simple fact is that there's 32 teams. That means that they would have to have somewhat of 32 different camera setups and Right. Like Right. Which I mean, obviously overhead the overhead would be immense. Care. You know what saying? It would be immense. And and don't and they don't care. I don't I I Do know how much money it takes to open up a stadium and welcome a 100,000 people? You think they're worried about that expense? No. Because they know that everybody the average person's gonna spend $50 times a 100,000. Then why do they have taxpayers pay for it then? Well, you're you're getting you're talking you're talking about two different things. But no. But that's I mean, that's the same thing because if we're going into the if we're go it's Alright. Alright. Then let me answer it. Let me answer that for you. Uh-huh. Because they can. Yeah. Because because overhead is lower. You No. No. That's what salesman the best way it. It's always been done, and until somebody comes up with another model for it, whatever that model may be, and I don't even know if there's anything on the drawing board on wait a minute. I don't know if there's anything, you know, like, on the drawing board for it yet, but when they do, it will happen. I'm sorry. Go ahead, Grayle. No. You're right. I I I agree. I just don't I don't I don't necessarily I don't I don't agree because some of the fact is that it's not we're talking how much how much was the stadium for for the Cowboys? 2,000,000,000. 2. They got and they got 750,000,000 from Arlington. And the rest of it, Jerry knew that it was an investment to the future, and he gladly paid the rest of the So he paid 1.25? Yes. Okay. So Gladly. And you know what? He's made it back a 100 times over. For sure he's made it, but he didn't make it only from the NFL games because he's already paid it off. None of them do. Kraft doesn't do it. Right. You think they do it in LA? It's a new world that you have to stadium. Yeah. You have to have these big state of the art stadiums. Events and all these concerts and things like that. Yes. But you have people who understand multipurpose. It's no no longer is it a sporting thing. It's multipurpose. Now I'm a double back and ask you. Now imagine that for a network. What are you gonna double purpose a network for? There's only seventeen weeks in a season if you don't make the playoffs. If you make the playoffs cool, twenty twenty one games. But after that, we got a long ass year to go around. So what are you gonna do with your network? All all out coverage? We have that with ESPN for free. There's no you're right. Not yet. I I'm not predicting the future. But what I'm saying is it's really tough You know what I'm saying? To run a network like that. It's really tough to run a network for something so short for specific teams. There the cost doesn't. The cost is gonna outweigh the profit. It's not gonna make sense. They make so much more money this way. And and and I see where you're going there. You know what I think they will do? They'll bring in a partner. They will have all the part they have the partners now. No. No. No. They'll bring in a partner. They'll bring in basketball. They'll bring in the NBA. No. They'll bring in the they'll bring in hockey. They'll bring in baseball. They'll bring in one of those. Listen. In NFL thinks the rest of them are NFL thinks they're here, and NBA is down here. Baseball NFL is the the the None of god, and the rest of them are the disciples. Well, maybe that's the way they look at it, but they also see them as they will see them as good, attractive potential partners. But how would you how would you sell that to a basketball team? Because my thing is is that basketball NBA has its own issues. Right? But the the stadiums aren't built like that. We're having we're having people fall out with with the stadiums and things like that. Right? So, like, how are you gonna get a basketball team to partner with you for an out for an outside game? Hell no. No. No. Not for an outside game. It I mean, the games will be just the way they are. They'll have their own they'll have their own gym. Saying separate stadium gyms and and and and basketball over like, for instance, the Mavericks. Mavericks and Cowboys will partner together and have separate networks? You're Possible. Man, maybe. You're right. I don't think it's a a professor's idea. None of it is. We've already seen that all of this is very, very possible. They if some you're right. If somebody has it on a drawing board and can figure out a way to make it make sense, sure. They're gonna run with it. But my thing is is right now, it doesn't make sense because like you said earlier, Greg, is that the NFL has always been good to their local fans. They're gonna continue to be good to your local fans. You need the network. It's it's that networks need you. It's down the road for sure. Oh, yeah. Mean, I'll be dead and gone by that. Well, I'm I feel pretty sure that I will, but nevertheless, it's well down the road. You know what? We're sitting here talking about this stuff, and the Cowboys won yesterday. Hey. Congrats, Cowboys. That gets nobody excited? Gets me excited. Gets nobody worked up. Gets me excited. Listen. I'm a Packer fan. I wore it on my chest for a reason. That's why I said we had a good week. You know? It was a good week. Dallas didn't lose. I ain't gotta hear Cowboys fans going crazy wanting to fire everybody. And Oh, man. I love beat the Jets, and the Jets fans went crazy. I love nothing more than when the Cowboys lose. And it's not that I really don't like the Cowboys so much. It just makes for it just makes for more action when they lose. It's a better story. Yeah. It's just a better story when they do. When they do mean I it used to pain me when we were doing shows together, but, you know, I would hope for a catastrophic moment because I knew on Monday we were gonna have a banger of a show. I mean I hated being like that. But I mean, it I mean, cowboys, the most talked about team in the NFL, so I I agree. When they lose, it's better. But They didn't lose yesterday. They didn't lose. They did not lose. And I I do So all the Giants lost. Yeah. And the Giants lost. So and they lost Dart, who's probably gonna be out for, like, the season because, apparently, now they're making decisions whether or he's gonna have to have surgery on the knee. And if he had surgery on the knee and his season ending, it's We have seen the last we're going to see of that boy for a while. Yeah. Probably so. Okay. So you lost Darnold. You lost Tua. Mhmm. You lost Dart. Alright. Tua. Tua is no big loss. I was about to say Tua. But he but but but he's a loss in the first two weeks of Tua never played. Tua didn't even play. You lost Khalib. Who? Khalib. Khalib? God almighty. Oh, Caleb. Caleb Williams. Caleb Williams. I was thinking about Caleb. I'm like, wait. Who's Yeah. God. I can't I usually have one of those, but I but No. I've I've I've had two tonight. But I didn't think would get worked into that too. I like that. I think to achieve that. Jaden Daniels. Jaden Daniels. Yep. Jaden Daniels got hurt. Had to come out the Murray. Kyle well, Kyle Murray's coming back this week. Well Kyle Murray's coming he is. And and he still got hurt. That's a lot of starting quarterbacks getting hurt in in the first two weeks. Boy, it is. It is. I mean And you know what? It it it's so when you're asked to do your job Mhmm. Only 17 times a year, that's it. Mhmm. If you're in a a starting NFL quarterback, you only do your job full blast the way you're supposed to 17 times a year, and that's it. And you know what else? I mean There is nothing anybody can do about it. No. It it it's kinda like a NASCAR driver. You're you're either going to have to better offensive line. You're either gonna have to change the fabric of the game or live with it. Look. It's it's like a NASCAR driver that only drives simulators. He he never gets out on the real track, then you throw him out there in the Daytona five hundred and go, okay. Get out there with the cars and drive. They're not ready to play. Speaking of Daytona, did y'all see that fight in the the with the victory now? Oh, in the NASCAR? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, man. What a fight. So he start fighting? Yeah. Yeah. I forget the guy's name. It was a good fight. Dude walked Good fight. Dude was walking up to him, and before he could even get a word out, the other dude punched other driver punched him in the face. He backed up and drivers? Yeah. He backed Somebody tried to break it up. He got back in there. Yeah. It was a good fight, man. I was like, yes. Sorry. Yeah. But so what was your point about the the quarterbacks, though? Like, what They're just they're not ready to play. I I mean, the the a a starting quarterback when he takes when he gets hit for the first time in the first game, that's the first time he's been hit since the last time. So Since the last hit because they don't play in preseason. They don't get ever hit in practice. And like Ryan says, unless they change drastically, how are you gonna improve? They're gonna have to change the fabric of the game to eliminate that. If if if and and nobody wants that. And do you think I'm gonna play Dak Prescott in a preseason game for nothing? No. I'm not. But my thing is is, like, they but they've also also you could argue the other side of that is that, like, the usual suspects But they're not ready to play. The usual suspects got hurt. What I mean by that is Jackson Dart had injury problems last year. Jayne Daniels always had injury problems. Kyle Murray, small stature, always had injury problems. That's because we're in in what do all those have in common? They're all smallish quarterbacks. They're all mobile too. Some Yeah. But Some some some Aaron got Some human bodies aren't made for the NFL. Well, I Kyler Murray's body and Tua's body, they are not made for the NFL. Just had a long since I think two has an never offensive line in front of him. In Miami, he was He played behind the greatest offensive line ever in Alabama and was hurt there. He's been hurt his entire career. All that guy has ever done is get hurt, is spare people to death. Yeah. Well, here's the thing, though. He also came in and won a championship with that great offensive line, hurt, ankle, whatever the case would be. But my thing is is Tua's also one of those people that don't learn. Like, Tua will slide, like, because they kept telling him to slide, but Tua will run like he's a running back trying to run through a defensive lineman. And it's like, bro, you're only a hundred ninety two hundred and ten I pounds. Would not have that guy. It's Jaden it's somebody they don't have the body for it. They just don't have the body to take that pounding. You know, a guy like Russ a guy like Russell Wilson was only five ten. Yeah. But he he weighed, like, two fifteen. Stack. He was solid. So he could get away with it. But but Tua and Kyler Murray you ever been next to Kyler Murray? He's a midget. Yeah. He's about my size. Yeah. So my thing is, like, thing is which I'm not a midget, but my my point is, though, is neither is some of the other quarterbacks that we see, like like, for instance, Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is the Well, he's finished. Yeah. But he got he got embarrassing. Cracked this last season. Yeah. He didn't I mean, this last game, and he didn't get he didn't get injured. My thing is his life because he won't throw the ball down the field. He dumps everything off. No. He doesn't wanna get hit, and, you know, and they've got 42. I wouldn't besides, he's not your problem anymore. No. No. No. I'm just saying in general, it's fine. You're right. I'm just saying in general, it's fine. And I'm telling you. As far as quarterbacks go, quarterbacks never punters, kickers, quarterbacks have never looked the football route. Like, they've or the football prototype. Like, that's why I hate this comment that Dan Orlowski's made about Hertz and Herbert. Oh, Herbert just looks the part and Hertz didn't. Like, where? Why? What what how? They both have the same statue if you stature if you wanna be real. And then on top of that, like, Jalen But you can take a guy that's six foot two hundred Yeah. And they have completely different bodies. For sure. For sure. For sure. And and Kyler Murray has a different body, and it's it's made for baseball. It's not made for football. I I I said that too. I was like, you should And just now baseball. Don't know if you've if you all noticed this, but, you know, you've seen a new dynamic. You're seeing a lot more quarterbacks get under the center. Have you noticed that, Ryan? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And guess guess what's that guess what's happening now? They're walking those two linebackers that have been basically written out of defense, and they're blitzing every time. Sure. Every and You you watch. Yeah. And so you're getting these quarterbacks even hurt worse now because they're not used to back to getting under center, and you've got these athletic linebackers that are coming after them. But, again, that's one of those things where, like, again, Matthew Stafford. I I I can I can name Once again, big body? He's a big bodied guy. He's tall. No. He's a big bodied guy. He is if you He's he's not that big. He's not. As far as he's a bodybuilder guy. Like, he's not Justin Herbert, honest to god truth, six three and, like, two forty. Like, Josh Allen, six four. Like, they're all massive. His body structure. Josh Allen body type. Josh Allen is Josh Allen plays, he's a quarterback, and he's the biggest guy on the field. Yeah. Not facts. Yeah. Well, that was Ben Roethlisberger too. Two point o, but with a better arm. But I do think though read better. Yeah. I do think that the your point, I understand it, but I also feel like it's the usual suspects. Like, Tua's like you said, Tua you said Tua was hurt in college. So Tua being out as not should not be a surprise to anybody. Some players are just injury prone. But Tua has the And body the NFL, it's it's been at at them since forever. The same build as Jalen Hurts, Herbert. He's No. Doesn't He's maybe a little skinny. Guy. He's just maybe a little bit skinnier, but his weight and height is not skinnier is not good in the NFL. I mean, it is. Even a little bit skinnier. But wide receivers not good. But wide receivers. He okay. Wide receivers are protected. Quarterbacks aren't. When? When have you have you seen the the middle point when they get you're giving me a little price. But quarterbacks are protect aren't protected. Yeah. Quarterbacks are protected. Wide receivers? Hell no. As soon as you Hope they come over. No. You can't hit a defenseless receiver anymore. Defenseless. Yeah. Defenseless. But once the guy catches the ball And he makes a move. It's over. It's fair game. Yeah. But it's always been like that. But that's what I'm saying. And they're built like you, me, and Mike. Like, what what are we talking about? No. What's his name? I I I can't I wish I could explain myself, but I just can't. I get what you're saying. Difference in body type and But quarterbacks have structure. Completely understand what you're saying. Bullshit. Smallish bodies, as much hits as you're gonna take in the NFL, you can't survive it, and you become So what are you suggesting that we do then? Not there's nothing you can do. Oh. You hope for the best. Oh. You know, if if you've got a guy that's got that's smallish and you're you know, you hold your breath and you hope he doesn't get hurt. Well, you put a damn offensive line around him and make it work. And you can make a quick Are we talking about quarterbacks again? About quarterbacks again. But my thing is you put an offensive line around him, and you make sure the same thing that we talked about Aaron Rodgers not throwing deep. Everybody wants to put a good offensive line around him, but you just can't go to Walmart and buy you some. I mean, you can't, but And the Cowboys are learning that. The only thing the Cowboys have a good offensive line. They have some suspect Their offensive line had a pretty good guess. They had a real good guess. They they have some suspect situations, but they're they're pretty good o line. I I I like the guy Booker. Tyler Booker. Tyler Booker. He's And they got Tyler Smith. I mean, the it's Tyler City up there. Yeah. Booker, Smith, Guyton. Guyton. Yeah. I just think that I I also think, though, like, you say it can't be it can't be done. Like, it it's not easy. You could just go up to Walmart and pick them. You're right. Just like it's not easy to guess what kind of quarterback you're gonna get as far as, like even with the body structure, we don't know if they're gonna be a good quarterback or great quarterback, things like that. We don't know. All we know is that they got the body structure. But Ben Roethlisberger, most people didn't like him coming out of the NFL. Tom Brady, Pat Peyton Man like like, there's a lot of the body structure part of it doesn't have anything to do with whether or not you can stick in there and and throw the ball. Yes. You're gonna get hit. Pray to god that it let you land right and you do it, but it's the quarterbacks that are constantly hurt are the ones that got hurt this week. The one or these these first two weeks. Did you like Tom Brady's s bomb yesterday? Oh my god. That was great. No. The only good thing he his piss missile coming in. That bet. Oh my god. He was like, oh, it was between three. He stride out a piss missile. And I was like, yo, Tom is in the booth, baby. Yes. But see, that's a baseball term. That's not really a football term. Yeah. Is. I like, but I but I'm I'm here for it. Like, even if I'm here for it. I loved it. Yeah. Piss missile is Does he think that he can get away with that? Or He's gonna get away with the oh shit, but the piss missile, he's definitely get they're getting fined. He's gonna get he got pulled aside like, hey, Tom. Bring it in a little bit. Bring it You can say that. No. Piss missile. Can't Yes. You can. Yeah. Oh, okay. Okay. I know radio I know radio. Radio, but we we take radio law, and I and and you can say that. You can say piss missile on machine. Say You I'm gonna take a pee. Piss missile. I You can't say that if it's connected to urine. Yeah. Yeah. But if you just say he's a piss ant logical. Yeah. But if you say piss ant or piss missile, yeah, you can absolutely say that. They don't like it when you do that, and you might not be able to get away with it. Now the s word is one that's gonna get him in trouble. See, but I think I honestly, I don't think they're really gonna say anything about it. No. They're not gonna say anything about it. I don't think they're gonna He's Tom Brady. But they could. They could. They could. But they shouldn't. He hadn't played in years, and he's stuck with the kids in NFL. I don't know why you can't say it anyway. Mean, I you can say crap. You can say poop. You can say all that, but you can't say the s word. You know? And I I I've I've never understood that. It makes no sense. That just like what we said about football and being streamed and all that stuff like that, I think swearing is gonna become a non subject and because I mean yeah. This is it doesn't just because you like the old additive of you swear because you can't think of any other words, I I think that's gonna be gone. I think that's I think that, like you said, the the bowl game people of the old ways getting out of getting out of there soon. You I don't think he's gonna get in trouble for it. I think it was absolutely amazing when he said piss missile, not the oh shit because of J. D. Daniels injury. That that shit was crazy. I like the oh shit myself. Yeah. I just didn't like it because it was the it had to do with I liked it because it was so raw. Raw. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it was his emotion. And you know what? I said the same thing. Yeah. No. Every Washington fan out there was saying the same thing. Every football fan was, oh, shit. Like, oh my god. How did that elbow go this way? Like And yet he may play this week. I I wouldn't bet on it. Yeah. I was gonna say, I don't know about that one. Just like Jackson Dart haven't ruled him out yet, but I wouldn't bet on it. Now Jackson Dart, no. He ain't playing. He probably Which is crazy because that same hit was very it was very, very, very similar to the to the Aaron Rodgers hit. Very similar. I can't believe that Aaron Rodgers survived that one hit. You saw yeah. That's what I'm talking about. He got blindsided, legs in the air, flailing, like he Not only did he survive, he popped right up. And right up. So and he's You know what? And he's an old man for ten and couple of years. And that's probably far from the worst hit he's ever taken. Boy, he I mean, they blasted him. This is true. But, yeah, I I just think, as far as when it comes to the quarterback body structure and things like that, I don't think it really matters as much because we weren't saying that about, like, a Michael Vick. Michael Vick had Michael Vick had a great body. That's why. No. Michael Vick. Yes, he did. He was six foot tall and weighed two hundred and twenty pounds. That's not that big. That's not that big. And he was he you know why? And we didn't say it about Mikey because It's it's because he see he now if he was damn near the fastest person on the field. He was the fastest. Damn near. He's he's he's one of the fastest I've ever seen him Yeah. But he was six foot. He was I mean, he was built like a running back. He was He wouldn't be the fastest guy on the field if he was six four. Yeah. Facts. He would have been a fast ass wide receiver. But I just there's there's been other Still wasn't the better quarterback than Allen Iverson in high some wince. Yeah. That's facts. They were in the same district in high school. Yeah. And while Allen Iverson was a better New Newport News. Yep. They were in the same district. Bad news VA. Yeah. And neither one of them were the best best quarterback in the district. You know who was, Ryan? Who? Ronald Curry. Remember him? Yep. Ronald Curry, Allen Iverson, and Michael Vick in the same district. That is strong to quite strong. My. What What the the hell hell is is Ronald Ronald Curry? Curry? He was a two sports star. I don't know. It escapes me right now. I know I should know that, but No. He went he went to remember, he went to North Carolina as a quarterback slash point guard. Wow. I mean, he played he played basketball for Dean Smith. That's crazy. Okay. I'm a Yeah. He's Now I gotta Google it. Ronald Kirk. He was well, that's because he he he turned out he turned out to be a big bust. I mean, yeah. But are we happy with the way the Cowboys game went yesterday? We learned two things. Sure. What do we learn? They will not go undefeated, and they will not go winless. Everything else is a mystery. They they will I think that their defense problems didn't go away, one. Two, they have a they still have a really good offense, but they still can't run the ball very well? No. They can't run the ball very well, and that's a little bit of a mystery to me because I think their offensive line is pretty good. And maybe I'm crazy, but I was real big on the idea of them bringing Williams back. Yeah. I like Williams because, you know, he may not be spectacular or anything like that, but he's one of those guys that always gets a little bit more than you would think would be there. Yeah. You know, like, if he he if he carries the ball and you look at it and you think, okay. He's gonna get three yards out of this, he gets five. Five. Yeah. Yeah. And if he looks if he's got a little space and the guy closes in on him and he winds up with a five yard game or what should be a five yard game, he'll get you eight. I mean That's a good point. I mean, yeah, I mean, for the most part. I'll take a guy like that any day of the week. You know? I don't know. He looks like he's interested in playing. Well, I think I mean, we say that this week, but, I mean, last week I always thought that Last week, though, did we feel the same? Last week when when they played Hey. Last week, they weren't on the field. I I mean You can't judge anything from last week. They were they were they were outmatched, out out physicaled, out everything. They were outcoached, and that that's where it began and ended. Yeah. That's true too. I didn't wanna say over there, folks. We're just doing a little podcast here. You can have a seat over there and watch if you want. Whatever you wanna do. Or come over here and talk with us. Yeah. Yeah. Come over and have a seat. It's good to see you. But yeah. I mean, I think, you know, I think, Cowboys had a good week. I do think, though, that they're gonna finish either, well, with depending on the Jackson Dart injury, I think they're gonna finish second or third in the NFC East. I do not have high hopes for them. Wow. Alright. Well But now we got the Jaden Daniels injury to worry about. I don't know. It could be that they're gonna they're gonna be better than anybody thinks because they do have one thing, and that one thing was really, really good yesterday. And that thing is Dak. That gum right. Man. Listen, man. That guy I rock with Dakota, man. I don't care what none of the cowboy fans say. Man, that that Dak man, we don't know how lucky we are. Don't. We we really don't. That guy is so and and the thing about it is with Dak, he's never had his Andy Reid. He's never had his Sean McVeigh. I think so. Never had, you know, his Sean Payton. Think Kellen Moore I think Kellen Moore was it. I think that Yeah. I think Kellen Moore was it. Two and a showing it now with the saints. And I'll bet you anything that if you know Dak and talk to Dak, he will probably tell you that the guy that he learned more about playing quarterback in the NFL than anybody else was is Kellen Moore. Kellen Moore. But then he was gone. Yeah. But that's what I'm saying. I I feel like I feel like they should've instead of they should've moved Kellen up to to the head coach when they got rid of what was it? Garrett? Or was it who was or was it McCarthy when when Kellen Oh god. Who who keep up? It was Garrett. Right? Yeah. So I think when Garrett was on the way out the door, they should've just gave the job to Kellen. But he he's had so many offensive coordinators and and head coaches, and all he's done is been consistent. And when when Dak's out there, the Cowboys have a chance to win. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they really do. They've they've got a chance to win, and, man, I hope they do. Because all that guy has done is produced, kept his mouth shut Yeah. And just gone out every day and gutted it out. God, I can't you can't say enough about that guy. Yeah. I mean, he he is a team leader. He is anything you want him to be. Yeah. Everything that you want him to be is what he's been the whole time that he's been here. Yeah. Now I've always thought that he was really at heart just upper second tier quarterback, but so what? You can win with an upper second tier quarterback if that's what he is. And, really, this the later the longer he's gotten and the later he's gotten in his career, the better he's gotten. So you don't think he's you don't think he's a top tier quarter in the league right now? Top tier. I've never thought of him that way. Really? My my tier may be a little bit I got him, like, top six. My tier may be a little shorter than yours, but Dak is real good at adapting to his weapons. He's real good at using them. He he's real good at everything. Mean, he was good with Schultz. Now he's good with Ferguson. Ferguson. Yep. And he You know, he would do with just Lam. Now he's good with Pickens and He was good with Des Bryant. Des Bryant. Yep. He's good. You know? He I mean, when you consider what the guy has had to adjust to the whole time he's been here. Exactly. You know, getting drafted if you're a quarterback, getting drafted by the right organization Oh, yeah. Or the right coach is equal to being born into a trust fund family. You know? I mean, I mean, mean, things are gonna work out for us. I mean, I mean, you're you're already on third base, and and Dak couldn't have been drafted by a worse organization as far as developing him. No. Wow. He couldn't have. You think so? You you you think they've utilized his talent and not wasted some of his prime years? The New York jets would like to have a word. Well, you know, we can't be concerned with the New York jets. Have a word. The Miami dolphins would like to have a word. There's a lot of NFL teams We can't be concerned with this. With on quarterbacks. Hell does Where the Cowboys never have lot of NFL teams that would love Hell, yeah. Love love Dak. To have him. Yeah. Dak. I mean, back early when he was young, I mean, even right now, they'd love to have him. Hell, the Giants. I mean, NFL team out there that doesn't have a quarterback would love to have him. And you know what? Most of those teams, if he went to him, he'd make a big, big difference. Hey. It doesn't matter if how old you are. You have never gone through a bad cowboy quarterback drought. You just haven't. There have been a few, but you just haven't. I mean, it went from Meredith to Staubach Yeah. It's a to Danny White Oh, White. Yeah. To couple years, then Troy Aikman, then a couple years, then Troy then Tony Romo Right. Then Dak. Yeah. You think Andy Reid wouldn't have loved to have Tony Romo runs? What could he have done with that quarterback? But, you know, here, you know, won a few games and I think lost a few big games and never utilized his talent. Cowboys have always been quarterback. Culture personality. I mean, you know, Cowboys have always had an embarrassment of riches as far as quarterbacks, and it continues, and I love it. I love it. My packers as well. My packers as Your packers can't stack up with that. I mean I mean, not. We went from not from that far, but we went Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love. Like, we ain't miss a beat. Well, Jordan Love doesn't have That's pretty good. That's pretty good, but he doesn't have a he doesn't have a he doesn't have a ring. Not yet? You know? And we and we and we've two that have five. Aaron only has one. Brett Frog. Woah. Woah. Dak Prescott doesn't have one either. Romo don't have one. But he may get him one. Dak don't have one. Than a lot of people Troy was the only one. Troy's the only one with five. No. Troy's got three. Rogers got two. Two. Okay. Alright. So let's see it. Aaron only got one. Brett Favre only got one. Loves Bounty. That's because they were underachieving quarterbacks. Yeah. I just think it's really hard to get to I just think it's really hard to get to the fucking Super Bowl. I think it is. Ask Cam Newton. I don't I don't think they were underachievers. I mean, while those guys were playing in the game You don't like Brett Brett Favre underachieved? No. I don't. When Brett when Brett Favre was playing in the game He was whenever the subject of really, really good NFL quarterbacks came up, he was right there. Sure. He was. Yeah. Same thing with Aaron Rodgers. And, you know, not everybody only won one super gets to win one. Not at all. Not that there have been a lot of really, really good quarterbacks Let me ask you. But have been that same conversation that never got to win one. But all the great ones win at least two. That's not how it works. All the great quarterbacks don't get to win one. So we can There's a lot of other things that have to go right. Russell Wilson, we consider him a great quarterback too? Yeah. I I do because I don't know, man. He threw the he threw that interception. Great. Yeah. I don't know. Good top tier, sir. It was a bad call, but he threw the interception. I don't know. I mean I've always been a fan of his because he's a baseball guy. I mean yeah. No. No. Listen. And Russ I think Russell gets a bad rap, but I don't when we're talking if you're talking just Marino Wilson, I'm sorry. And I I never Stan Marino. I've never even got to see Marino play. I only seen, like, the old highlight clips and all the stuff. Yeah. No. You know all that. You noticed I kinda shut up when you brought up Marino. I'm sorry, man. I just you know, I just mean, he he he can't win that argument. Well, that's and that's that's the thing is I that's why I think it's hard to have the conversation about quarterback's body structure and things like that because it's like, you just have motherfuckers that, like because I don't think well, I don't know. Marino had a he had the body structure. Elway had the body structure. Troy was Then Marino had the body of a bowler. But he was Oh, he didn't? He was Yeah. But yeah. Marino was tall. He was a pudgy he was a pudgy guy, though. He was a pudgy guy. Was very pudgy. He was like, you know, like, when he would talk yeah. Yeah. Was I saw I saw him without a shirt one time and then in the locker room, I'm like, golly. Really? Because yeah. I mean, you got Mix in a sit up. Hey. You ain't gotta do a sit up when you could throw the ball in line. Yeah. You ain't gotta do a sit up when you could throw the ball in. No. But no. I think, man, Miami has taken such a nosedive since then. But I think they got a good quarterback in the league, Willis. I'm biased because he came from Green Bay, but I think he's gonna do good there. They just suck in in general as a whole team and organization. But That's not a team that I even think of in the Who do the Cowboys play next week? Baltimore. Oh. Yeah. In Rio De Janeiro. Oh, it's right. Yeah. They how about say they talk about it? That's something else that we should have got into. Apparently, that field terrible. Is not worthy. No. And they're gonna do it anyway. Are they? I aren't they still considering not doing it? Are they still they're they're on the fence. They're on the fence still from from what they said, which is crazy because it's No. They they've already missed they've already missed their window. Oh, really? I mean, their window was Tuesday. And they and they said, no. We're gonna play it. I mean, I've never heard anything about them possibly moving that game. There was talk of it. But yeah. Because Sunday Sunday, there was a lot of talk on it. Because Adam chef Shefter had it. Even soccer players were complaining about the the field, and that's that's bad when the soccer players are complaining about it. But didn't Green Bay and the Eagles play on that same field last year? Season opener? I don't know. I don't know. Did they? They played in Rio. Well Well, you're the packer guy. You tell us. They I I'm just not sure if it's the same field, but I they played in Brazil. They played in Rio. Here's what it's gonna take. Uh-huh. It's gonna take a marquee player, and I mean a marquee player. I do not oh, I know what player to have a Napoleon McCallum type injury Yes. Yeah. Do. In front of everybody Knock on wood. And you can directly correlate it to the field and say, the field caused this guy to have a career ending injury, and we will never see his greatness. We can only hope that marquee guy is not Dak Prescott. We can only hope that that does not happen. I I hope it doesn't happen. Yeah. Can. But but it's gonna take something of that magnitude Please. To stop this not soccer fields and NFL fields are not compatible. No. They're not. They're not the same type of surface. But I think when we like, when we go to Ireland and and for college football and stuff like that, they get it together. And when we went to to Australia, it was They didn't get it together. They didn't get it together. Field wasn't the field wasn't that bad. One that TCE played on was a goat ranch. The field was not that bad. There was no injury. Alright. But but it was a good game. It was a bad game for TC. Not that bad. An NFL team should play on not that Understood. But I mean, if you're trying to globalize, I don't even know if that's a word, but if you're trying to bring the game Oh, it is. Believe me. It is. If you're trying to make it where NFL is everywhere, you're gonna have to sacrifice some of these bad fields. No. You you shouldn't worry so much about making the NFL everywhere. The n f the the game of football is an American thing. Nah. Listen. Listen. What do you mean? Okay. If it's not, then how come nobody else plays it? Roger because it's not over there yet, but flag football is. What do mean? Flag football is illegal. A football league in in England could start one tomorrow. They play rugby. Israel can start one tomorrow. Listen. Roger Iran can start well, maybe not them. Roger and the owners of all those stadiums that the World Cup came and played in saw all that money that we were just talking about and said Now you're on to something. Shit. It's time to get it's time to get this world money. Yes. It's time to get this world money. So Oh, boy. It will happen. It's gonna happen. It will happen. They were talking about putting Jacksonville in damn London, like, just two, three years ago. Now that would be crazy. But you know what I'm saying? The only reason they didn't is because just, like, same thing you have with the NBA with with the teams over in, Toronto. The taxes are different. The the ownership taxing is different. Everything is different from how we do things here. So it's like you have they're gonna have to figure out and orchestrate a way to make it make sense, but it's coming. I think the NFL's kind of they don't like the idea of going into Canada because of Canadian football and all. They kinda let them have their own thing. They don't care nothing about the Canadian football league. I can promise. I think I think they do. The old people did. The old people that protected the local the local broadcast that we were talking about, they they do. Care because it's what what are they gonna do? Get up they don't play around the same time as them. They they're not as big a sport as them. Hell, if they want, they can pluck some of their players from over there. I just I don't think they care that much. I think globally, they're going to figure You got two, maybe three cities in Canada that are certainly fit the profile of a city that would host an NFL team. Yeah. For sure. And they have not they they they made there's been no noise about anybody moving there, expanding up there, or anything. When they talk about expansion, they stay stateside. That's because 90% of the Buffalo Bills fans are from Toronto. I mean, I mean Oh, yeah. Most most of the Buffalo Bills fans are from Toronto. I don't think most of them. Yeah. They are, Ron. Look at it. I I say about it's about over 60. They did surveys when they built that new stadium. It's about forty sixty. If that was the case, maybe it would a lot of them, but not most of them. No. They they would have moved it to Canada if that was the case, and they didn't. They they kept it in Buffalo because of some factors. The Buffalo Bill fans Yeah. I mean, when they're gonna build on that. When they're gonna build them a new state, they could have very easily taken it over to Toronto Easy. And say, hey. Would you like us? Yeah. They still gonna be the Buffalo Bills, but we'll play in in Toronto. Yeah. They would That's basically what the bears did in Indiana. That's a different thing, though. That's a state that's right there. Yeah. That's Well, they basically they're moved to another state. I'm all for it because I'm all for it. That ain't right, though. Yeah. They moved to another state. I know. They moved to another state, and that's the Chicago bears. And Yeah. Chicago ain't in Indiana, and then that ain't right. Now what what would be funny is if they if that city, they got the state But see, don't think geography changed. Their name to Chicago. Chicago, Indiana. That would be fucking great. Would be fucking funny. But Gadell is on record as saying that the next expansion teams might be overseas. And you know Yeah. You know when it's gonna happen? When they finally agree to do the schedule. When they finally agree to to make the schedule longer, like 18 to 20 games. Well, they've got they've got a work they gotta work out a new CBA. But that's what I'm saying. When it comes to that bumping right up against his retirement day. So that's gonna be interesting. When is his retirement? He just got another extension, didn't he? Thirty. He's out after Twenty thirty? Oh, yeah. Okay. That's a long way off. That's Yeah. A lot of things can happen. About three years. That's, about three years now. But in NFL years, that's not a lot of time. It's not, but I also think though as well that where you've never seen this type of growth in the sport since Roger Goodell. You I mean Yeah. That's true. Different NBA. It's different for for A lot of it was luck on his part be because he was the he was the right person at the right Yeah. But he harnessed all of it. Indeed. Yeah. And, I mean, he's the one that ushered in all the streaming services. Yeah. Yeah. I've with he he did it. Once he took over, he knew what to do. Yeah. Mean, he came there with a plan Mhmm. And he knew what to do. And, man, the league the league just keeps running in commissioners one right after the other that make them better. Well, I mean, he he grew up in a he knows how to navigate the political waters. His dad was a senator. So he he he grew up in the political world, and he knows how to navigate those waters. And if you can do that up there in that Northeast, Ron, you know those politics. And he's figured out a way to do it, and he's kept the NFL I can't believe He's kept the NFL right where they've always been. But I I can't believe how head and shoulders they are above everything else. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's just it's not even close. Look at the look at the the top 100 watched TV programs of all time. 75 of them are NFL games. Yeah. For sure. Super Bowls. 75. Super Bowls are definitely up there. And yeah. No. It's I mean, that's the thing is we Well, he understands that that the live sporting event Mhmm. Gets the most eyeballs now. You can no longer have an episode of MASH get 70,000,000 viewers. Wasn't he a TV guy who to start with? Goodell? Kinda. Didn't he come in through TV? Yeah. I mean, well, he worked for the NFL, but he worked in their TV department. Worked under Greg Aiello. Remember Greg Aiello? He worked under Greg Aiello? Yes. He did. Wow. Remember Greg, don't you? Oh, yeah. I don't know who that is either. That's a guy that was a cowboy PR underling for several years back in the Landry years. Okay. And he became he went to work for the NFL for the league Uh-huh. And became a player. Yeah. He was Joe Brown's top guy. Yeah. Damn. Joe Brown ran all the communications, and he was his top guy. So Baltimore predictions? No? I mean, I know you like when the cowboys lose, so we're gonna ask Greg because Alright. Go. Thank you. As I was sitting here trying to gather my thoughts. Well, I I was I I mean, he he he wanted yours, not mine. So Well, I don't I don't give I'll give away to you here. I hate to do this, but I don't think the Cowboys can beat Baltimore. I think Baltimore coming off that devastating loss. I don't think the Cowboys can slow down a running quarterback at the time, they're and gonna have fits with Lamar Jackson. And somehow, I think that field's gonna factor in. I don't trust that field or the Cowboys defense. I think they lose maybe a squeaker. I don't think they're gonna get blown out. So you're taking the Ravens? I have to take the Ravens, and I don't like doing it. Wanna go next? No. I mean, I I pass it this way. We'll come this way. You want me to go next? Or Yeah. Go next. Alright. So I agree with you. I think that the field is gonna have something to do with it. I think that their defense is not ready for Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson. I also think that that's really their main focus. The receivers that Ravens have are mid at best. So all they have to do is focus on the run. If they can stop the run, they can win the game. I don't think they'll be able to stop the run because can't if you can't stop Cam Scatterball. The Cowboys defense has forced two punch this year. They have forced two punch. Which is why I disagree with you on the squeaker. I think it's gonna be I think it's gonna be nasty. I think it's gonna be like the last time Baltimore You know why it's not gonna be you know why it's gonna be a squeaker? Uh-huh. Dak Prescott. That's why. He'll keep him in it. But if he can't play defense, but he he he can rack up some points. But if they don't if he doesn't have a chance to get on the field because they're running the ball the entire time, it's it's, yeah, it's it's it's over. I think it's gonna be I don't think it's gonna be a shout out or anything like that. I think maybe, like, 21, 21, 10. But you are not credible because you hate the Cowboys. I don't hate the Yes, do. I do not. Just because I like the Packers does not mean I hate the Cowboys. That automatically means does. That automatically means you hate the Cowboys. First off, I don't even does. I don't even think about the Cowboys. The only reason I think about the Cowboys is because I'm in Texas. Other than that, I hate I hate That's a good reason. No. No. I hate the niners. I hate the bears. Everybody else, and I hate the eagles. So I hate everybody y'all hate pretty much, except for the giants. I don't really care about the giants. I just find it funny when they lose. So you're going with the ravens? I am. I'm going with the ravens. I think it's gonna be, you know, two, three touch I think it's gonna be, like, a two touchdown lead, honestly. And you're going with the cowboys? Cowboys. No. No. I'm going with the ravens. Oh, you're going with the ravens? I gotta go He's talking close I don't want to. I I don't want to, but I I just can't see them slowing down a running quarterback. I mean, a running quarterback is the biggest problem for a defense, and they can't stop it. And I didn't even mention Derrick Henry. I was about to gosh. I'm a little bit more worried about Derrick Henry than I would be the running quarterback. Yeah. Because that guy is a truck. He is a monster, bro. Boy, he wanted to be a cowboy. He lives in Dallas. Literally trains here in Dallas downtown over or South Side Lamar at Sanders Pit. Jerry just couldn't pay him $8,000,000. Couldn't do it. Could not find the 8,000,000. He will regret that because I too am jumping on the Ravens bandwagon. I expect that that I'm a little bit reluctant too because I was a big John Harbaugh fan. And now that he's not there anymore, that's that gives me a little bit of pause. But I think a lot of John Harbaugh ways and John Harbaugh ideas and John Harbaugh football things are still there. And I just the Cowboys had a nice little win for them the other day, but but did that really fix anything or change anything? I don't think so. So give me the Ravens. Yeah. It was the Commanders. I don't think it fixed anything. Think No. I don't think it did. I think it was just It a nice it was a nice little win. Nothing more. Nothing less. Yeah. It's like beating up on your little brother. You know? They're gonna be a work in progress. They they just need to play for the embers. I They need to play for the embers. The Novembers and Decembers. I feel like Play for the embers. If y'all are ever gonna make a change for the the cowboys, like, if they're ever gonna make a change, this would be the year. I would kinda I would kinda tank. I would kind of tank because they've been in this purgatory of being just good enough, just 500. They're in the same purgatory as Pittsburgh. If I was Pittsburgh, I would absolutely But see, think they're better, Ziggy. They they the Cowboys think they're they're absolutely convinced, but they are better than they really are. They're always that way. Which is the problem. I think that yeah. Yeah. I can't talk about Jerry because that man, he's he's a business genius. Got a funny feeling about this team this year. Really? They can they can score on anybody. Anybody. No. For sure. They can't stop anybody right now. But they But let's see what happens. Let's see if they plug these new players in. Let's see if Jerry will go out and use that salary cap money that he's got and make a trade at the deadline and get that pass rusher. Who knows? Just for the embers. I just don't and December.
